Smaller profile that packs a punch!

My husband and I are very familiar with the Alen Corp. family of products. A year ago, we purchased the BreatheSmart unit to get us through the renovations on our house and it did an amazing job cleaning the air. So, we had high expectations for the BreatheSmart Flex unit when we put it in our master bedroom. Since owning the Flex, we have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of sleep we get each night. We are sleeping more sound and the air simply feels cleaner.
The unit is the perfect size for a master bedroom. It was simple to set up and the control panel is very easy to use. It even has a 'sleep mode' that allows you to turn off the control panel at night while the system still runs. Nice feature for a bedroom! Living in Central Texas, we have really bad allergies. The Flex also does a great job of removing the allergens in the air.

My reason for buying this air purifier I've tried other air purifiers and they just did not work in the area that they clean wasn't large enough this one is large enough clean 700 ft.² of my apartment the reason why I bought this one the air ducts in my apartment are so dirty and dusty the management here will not clean them so I bought this air purifier to take care my problem so far so good I do suffer from allergies and this has been a blessing for me hope this can help others out

I want one for EVERY ROOM!

I was going to wait for a few weeks to write a review, but I've had this thing for all of 15 hours and I am astonished at what a difference it makes! I live in Salt Lake, where we get inversions of smog for much of the winter. The inversion we've got going on right now is particularly bad. Kids can't even go out for recess some days because the air quality is so dangerous. My husband has asthma and every person in my house is sick right now. My mom ordered this for us for Christmas in hopes of getting some breathing relief. I tell you what, I woke up this morning with clear sinuses for the first time in MONTHS. I couldn't "hear" my husband breathe and didn't wake up to his snoring either. It was the best night's sleep I've had in SO long. I doubted that I'd be able to tell the difference between the dirty air and the purified air and I was so wrong. I am absolutely thrilled and WIDE AWAKE this morning! I will definitely be purchasing more!

Didn't know what we were missing.......

Just bought (4) units on behalf of our daughter-in-law, who has allergies, for our home with three cats. We noticed a difference right away, and haven't been sick since we fired them up. Wow....we literally didn't know what we were missing. Quality of units far surpasses what you could find in the Big-Box stores, and the filters themselves are truly well engineered & effective. We should have done this years ago. Thank you, Alen!

Emits a foul odor

We bought the flex purifier for our bedroom and have only had it for about a week. The main thing we notice is that it gives off a strange odor and now our whole bedroom smells like it so its hard to say how well it is actually working because it's hard to get past the strange smell. I hope it goes away, other wise we are sending it back.

I live on the coast in Northern California and we had been having very toxic smoke drift our way from the unfortunate Paradise fire…I was a little slow to order a filter and was inspired by a friend to do so. I live off-grid and make my own electricity with solar panels and while researching for an air purifier, I read a review from one of your customers who had gone to the trouble of measuring the wattage requirements thru the 4 speeds of the FLEX motor…Her post was what really sold me as I could see that I could handle the requirements to run the fan at any speed even in the night. I’m going to add that the FLEX re-circulated the air so beautifully in my living room that the heat from my wood-fired heating stove warmed the room very efficiently. I’ll be ordering another soon!
