Dull picture. Ratio is useless

I hate this TV. The picture is washed out and has a sepia tone. The screen is dull.I should have known if it's matted it would be ugly. I wish it look great like my iPad Pro screen. Not a chance. And it's not sharp either. Do not waste your money. The ratio is very poor. The 4.3 setting puts the video in a little box. Surrounded by black on all sides. The zoom setting cuts off words. And puts a black bar on the bottom. There should be adjustment arrows to put the picture where you want it. There should be a stretch to screen setting. Without cut off words. LG did not do good on these ratio settings. Looking at the picture about 6 feet way hurts my eyes. So blurry and dull. I must have a defect tv. Everybody says how great the picture is. Not on the TV I payed for. The sound is great. I give it that much credit. I like the clearer voice setting. If only the worked on the ration settings better Plus no USB slots in the back. LG was greedy in that department. Well now I'm the owner of a 116.99 dud. Thanks LG. Do a firmware to fix the ratio settings. And fix the picture. It's not sharp enough for me. .

Poor quality picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this small , simple TV for our kitchen about a month ago. We cannot get it to have a crisp, clear picture. It isn't any better that our 15 year old TV that we replaced.
The sound absolutely doesn't work properly and we haven't been able to get it adjusted. The only sound that is affected by the volume button is the very annoying womans voice that tells us what the volume number is. The programming sound is never changed.
We are very disappointed with this TV and feel it may have been a rebuilt set which was not disclosed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3 YEAR OLD TV, ALL DONE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No smart features work, tv slows and speeds up. LG blames the cable company, but it also does this when its just using the antenna.the fix was to purchase a fire stick, but there was no need to buy the smart tv. No more LG Products for me.
