I bought this to replace one that failed. I chose it because of its dimensions -- it had to fit in a cabinet -- and because of LG's reputation for quality. I was a little skeptical of the low DC voltage power supply, which means there are additional electrical components inside that are necessary to get the higher-voltage AC that is needed. The picture quality is excellent, far better than the one it replaced. There is little lost vertical space outside the screen due to the low profile mounting stand, which was important to this installation. If the extra electrical circuitry holds up over time, I'll be completely satisfied.
