This is the most awesome rice cooker ever! I've tried a few other automatic rice cookers in the past and often been disappointed. This one is the perfect size for me, 3 cups is perfect for one or two people. It's made perfect rice every time, it's easy to clean, it's compact and easy to store. There's even a carrying handle for easy portability. The Zojirushi people think of everything. I've no regrets on purchasing my cooker and highly recommend to others.

Flawless rice cooker as expected. GABA, white, sushi, every recipe is perfect. Zojirushi is truly doing it right. We purchased the small size, since the kids are away now, and let me tell you small portioned rice serving usually are not the best but in this model they are perfect. A+

Have used mine for several years, mainly on brown rice, generalky comes out great.
The only negative would be the time, typically takes 1:15 min which seems a bit long.

I first bought mine ... gosh... in 2009, perhaps? Was it on the market as early as that? It is a wonderful, dependable little work horse. Makes perfect rice every time. Makes great steel cut oatmeal. Does a beautiful job of keeping rice warm. I would not like to live without it.
