Just get it, you’ll be happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two weeks ago. I’m single and eat 1 cup per meal. On my days off I’ll clock 2 cups in the AM and snack all day. It keeps rice fresh for hours. The rice is delicious and perfect every time. I balked at the price for a long time… total worth the money. I love to timer delay. When I wake up my rice is fresh and done, I pack it in my lunch and go.

I waited a long time before before buying this, debating whether we really needed a rice cooker since it is yet another appliance in the kitchen that takes up space. I now wish we had bought it earlier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cook times are longer than I've experienced with other, lower-priced rice cookers. This is maybe necessary for producing excellent rice, which the zojirushi certainly does, but was an unexpected characteristic. The machine is beautiful, seems well built with quality materials, and is sturdy. The versatility is a plus, allowing and giving directions for a multitude of rices and gains. All things considered, I feel that the price may be a bit higher than is worthwhile.
