We have grilled pork chops and steak using the grill and it works wonderfully. I do wish it had a cover of some kind (just like outdoor gas grills have cover) since we use it in the garage where it can get pretty cold in the winter and the meats are exposed to much cooler ambient air. I do see competitive grills that do have a cover option. Also, maybe a temperature (rather than Hi Med lo) kind of control knob. All in all quality product.
