Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender worked great for me. I have never made a smoothie before. Had no idea how they are made. I looked up some recipes on line. Bought some Blueberries, strawberries, bananas, watermelon and orange juice. When I opened the box I was hoping for a few recipes with it. The internet had a lot of smoothie recipes. It has a low setting and a high. It has a pulse setting on both. The shape of the blade is different from a regular blender.

Quick and effective blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is easy to use and works relatively fast. I used it to make fruit smoothies and milkshakes with cookies crumbles and it blended each of them smoothly. I liked that there was a low and high setting for each type of blending because i was able to alternate between the two to blend the more solid ingredients with the liquids. The low speed was sufficient to blend the smoothie with frozen fruit in about 5 seconds. If you like more texture in what you're blending, I would recommend just blending a few seconds at a time as it can blend to a smooth consistently pretty fast. The glass container can hold enough for about 2-3 servings.

The Best Blender Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I decided we wanted to take on a healthier lifestyle, so we started drinking smoothies before leaving for work/school. We bought frozen strawberries and blueberries to add to our smoothies. This blender was just what we needed to get started. In the past, we had problems with fruits and vegetables not being blended and were afraid the blender would not be able to incorporate the frozen fruits. But this blender got the job done and more! The frozen fruits are blended down, smooth, and with no chunks of fruit left. Cleaning is effortless! We love it!!!! Also, I like that blender is not too loud compared to the other ones I had. Happy wifey and Happy Hubby.

Simple machine for smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for making fruit/vegetable smoothies with ice. I need to chop them down to smaller size to avoid shaking the machine, but with small amount of fluid it's ok. Easy to clean and simple enough to use, not too heavy and not too light to feel it unsafe to leave it to run. You can smell vaguely plastic smell if you leave it run too long, but it'll do its job within a minute so it's not a big deal in this case. One small thing is I'm not so sure why the cap has small cap that'll fall when I tried to wash, I myself prefer simpler design usually so this is my personal complaint.

The perfect Smoothie choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product. It is very safe to use and easy to use with no complex controls. It makes the perfect smoothie in no time at all. You can easily mix fruits, juices, or milk and in less than a minute, you would have the perfect smoothie ready for breakfast. If you love milk-shake, I believe this would be a good choice as well.

Makes Smoothies, Milkshakes, & Everything Else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender. You can blend at either Low or High Speed, and Pulse. It easily makes smoothies, milkshakes, and icy drinks at the touch of a button. I use it every morning to make breakfast smoothies, and it blends the ingredients consistently, including fruit, for a healthy smooth breakfast drink. Milkshakes are a breeze to make : I used the markings on the side of the pitcher to measure my ingredients and every drink came out perfectly. My Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake was delicious, the peanut butter was incorporated completely into the shake, with no lumps. I also made whipped cream, crushed ice, and chopped some nuts. The pitcher is super easy to clean, with nothing to take apart. The power cord wraps around the bottom base of the blender, a nice space saver. There is no recipe booklet included with this blender. There are also buttons to Purée, Grind, or Stir ingredients. A recipe booklet with suggestions for all of this blender’s features would be helpful. The Hamilton Beach website has many recipes listed that you can try. Overall I’d highly recommend the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender.

Doesn't Blend Evenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't blend big chunks easily. Would be better if the only thing being blended was the softer foods. The blender itself is also pretty loud. Even the higher settings don't allow too much of the smoothie to flow within the container. To get an even blend, the blender requires multiple breaks to manually stir the ingredients.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
