Great blender for smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great blender for making smoothies and blended drinks. The pitcher is light weight and settles easily into the base. The controls are simple, press high or low and then the feature you want. For example, for making smoothies just add all your ingredients, press high, and then smoothie. For a blended margarita the steps are just as easy - high and then icy drink. The blender quickly blends all the ingredients together with no lumps. And because the pitcher is lightweight, pouring the drinks is a snap. Cleanup is just as easy, rinse out the pitcher and put it in the dishwasher, no hard pieces to take apart.
The only thing I don’t like about the blender is the length of the power cord. I would like to see it at least another foot longer so that the blender can be more easily positioned on the counter.

Love making drinks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender over 2 weeks ago but I was on vacation. So I only had a short time to try it out. The first thing I noticed with this blender is the 10 different settings plus on low or high level. It also has plastic pitcher that is very sturdy. Instead of being just being placed into the motor base bottom where you need to line up the grooves, this pitcher actually has a wider plastic bottom. This provides a more secure fitting to place it down and cover the motor base enables a better fits. I made a banana smoothie with vanilla yogurt and water. Using The blender selection on “smoothie high” it turned out nicely and the smoothie had a nice texture to it. I am looking forward to trying a strawberry smoothie. What I really can’t wait for a girls night a try our frozen strawberry daiquiris lol! I wanted to get hubby’s opinion so I made milk shakes for 2 (or more) lol. We like our shakes with some thickness to it with little chunks of ice cream but not much. Mostly it’s how much liquid you add and how well you blend it and add a topping of whipped cream .. yum! The blender worked perfectly choosing the “milk shake” feature button which resulted in a nice after dinner treat that hubby and I really enjoyed and plan on enjoying more in the future. The Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender is a winner!

Great blender, perfect for everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender has many uses, and feels very solid when uses. It has blended every item that I have tried with no problem, and my smoothies have come out very creamy and smooth. The blender does not move when using andthe black and stainless looks good in the kitchen. It has so many various buttons and 10 speeds, that it is sure to serve many uses ranging from low to chop. It even has an option for icy drinks, and it did crush ice with no problem. The other great thing about this blender is the pouring spout. You can actually pour from this blender without spilling everywhere. The large 56 oz capacity is also a great size and allowed me to make smoothies for my family.

Great Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this once so far and really like it! I made fruit smoothies, and it nicely chopped the fruit into small pieces and blended the other ingredients quickly. The buttons are clearly marked, and the Pulse feature is an added bonus as you can control how little or how much to blend something. I prefer the plastic jar over a glass jar, it’s lighter and there’s no worry about it breaking should it get dropped. It was also easy to clean. Next to try are milkshakes and I have no doubt they’ll be yummy!

Nice affordable blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product a few times before reviewing this product. So far i love this product and I really enjoy making smoothies and milkshakes in it. My previous blender had a glass jar and I was always worried about breaking it while washing but this blender came with a high quality plastic jar which is so convenient to use and it works great with ice, almonds ( which my previous blender wasn’t able to crush completely), and dates which are sometimes tough to grind fully. I cook so many indian dishes at home and i use this blender to crush my vegetables (onions,ginger,garlic,tomatoes) in it and it has made cooking so much easier for me.It has just one drawback that the length of the cord is short but thats not a big problem for me and is not that much noisy as other blenders can be sometimes. I have so many Hamilton beach products in my kitchen and I think that you can never go wrong with this brand. I highly recommend this blender to anyone who is looking for a great blender at a reasonable price.

an easy and effortless way to make juice on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first sight the weightless, ergonomically designed plastic jar caught my attention. It's easy to hold and it firmly fits over the blender base without any effort; no need to twist/turn to lock the jar into position. The blender base itself is not heavy and easy to handle. It has 10 speeds with high/low buttons and other buttons to crush the ice, milk shake & smoothie ...These buttons are made of good quality plastic, but I am afraid it might get stuck over continued use.
The 650 watt powerful blender operates smoothly without much noticeable noise; it was sturdy and didn't shake while it was running though the blender base is not so heavy.
I made a single serve grape juice with ice cubes on it and it was able to crush the ice in minutes, hope it'll continue to perform when a large quantity is made.
The jar has adequate capacity to make juice/smoothie for 4-6 servings at one go also it has markings on the side to determine the quantity.
I didn't give a 5 star rating since I didn't get a chance to test this blender on how it performs while making large quantities and I'm skeptical about the plastic buttons wear/tear.
Overall I'm impressed with this blender, which is affordable, easy to hold, operate and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely LOVE this. Much better than a regular blender. Even my 6 yr old granddaughter says the smoothies taste great! It definitely does what it says. The ice doesnt get stuck. It pulls the fruit and liquid down into the bottom so you dont have to stick something in to move things around. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thoroughly enjoy the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender. So easy with to use and selection buttons are clear and easy. I made smoothies one morning and tried the milk shake button the next. Love the creaminess from that selection. I add ice to all smoothies and its large pieces that the blender has no problem crushing to a smoothness you can use a straw with. The clean up is awesome as the jar is one piece and I do not have to take it apart to clean the blades. This will also be perfect for sauces. The wide mouth top of the jar and pour spout is perfect for recipes that call for blending and pouring to add to already cooking dishes too. Have already recommended this fabulous blender to a family member that is a smoothie lover too. The fact that I can make a batch larger enough for several people is the best!!!
