Maytag Oven

We bought the oven late last year for a second home. Recently we discovered there is a gas leak that forced us to turn off the gas supply to the oven. The service people believe the leak is internal to the oven.We need to make arrangements for a Maytag certified technician to troubleshoot the oven.I will change my recommendation contingent upon resolution of the problem with the unit.

This oven has worked right since it was installed. The repairman has visited once and is coming back again.

The only thing I don't like about the oven is the way the light bulb is designed sticking out the back of oven. If not careful you could slide something into it.

Like digital oven control

Enjoy oven but was disappointed when broiler door didn't pull out as all my other ovens I've had. Must pull out rack instead--unhandy.

Had this same oven in black when we built our home in 1998 - went out while we re remodeling our kitchen (which I guess worked out well) so I replaced it with the same model in stainless - It's simple and I love it.
