I trust the brand of Samsung having had previous units. As far as a review from me I gave it as a gift. To my best friend we have known each other for a long time. And so it can be evaluated with the perspective of a long journey, a long distance.
We will find out later what value this mobile phone provides.
Just like a vehicle purchase, it is the 100,000 mile mark with-out major breakdowns or repair. Or it's just not what I had expected from that manufacture. I work in TEST at a semiconductor manufacture. We strive for zero defects.

The S8+ = Awesome

This phone arrived on Wednesday before the Friday release. The display is astounding and I don't have it turned all the way to gorgeous yet. It feels great in the hand. I had no problem switching from my Blackberry Priv using my Exchange server. The rest of the setup, like all android phones, is a work in progress, as I explore all of the options. The fingerprint reader is great for login. The phone runs fast as lightning. The battery lasts for more than any day of hard use (and two days and some change last weekend). I could not be happier. Even the USB-C plug works great! When they say fast charge, they mean it. I went from 7x% to 100% in 23 minutes. The only downside is the price, but you get what you pay for.

After having this phone for over two weeks now, I am very impressed!!! The overall build of this device is very good. Somewhat on slippery side, but with a case, that's not an issue now. Battery life so far as been great. Getting 20+hours now. Will see how it changes when upping the display to 4k... Oh, and speaking of 4k, change the display to it, and goto youtube, and search for 4k nature videos. It's almost like watching in 3D... Great job Samsung!!!!

I wish my TV had the same infinity screen. its as if you are seeing past the video..So easy to take pics now with the ability to increase lighting without sunlight is awesome. Love my phone and can't wait for my VTR googles....thanx
