Really Good, bit expensive

After being disappointed on the Note 7 recall. I was looking forward to this phone. All I need to say really is one word...AWESOME.

Amazing phone....with 1 or 2 little.....

My S8+ is one of the best phones ive owned so far. I love the ease of use, everything is easy to find, easy to go through my settings and make my phone my own. There is the new themes section in wallpapers, absolutely love the fingerprint scanner and the edge menus make it so much easier to just look at my important items.
For all its great points there are a few little things that could use a change. For one, it's too expensive. Lots of great stuff but really expensive. Thank goodness I pay a little each month with my phone bill or id be phoneless.
I could do without Bixby and go back to Galaxy. It was really easy to turn on Galaxy and ask her to make a call, send a text...much like Siri..Galaxy was great.
The finger print scanner takes some getting used to and its a good idea to scan in two fingers if you need to open the phone while driving. Its pretty close to the camera but if you have narrow or small fingers you dont hit the camera...if you have larger fingers you may mistake the camera lense for the scanner and need to clean the camera lens often.
Other than that I'm in love....

Cons: bixby, to expensive

Still wishing for the Note 8, but this is the closest to it...

I was one of the many unlucky people who had the Note 7. Dealing with the recall was a mess to say the least, and I was downright angry that the most Samsung could offer was the Note 7 Edge which didn't come close to the features of the Note 7. This feels more inline with the Note 7, and in some ways is better, although I miss the ability to write on the screen...
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Built-in speakers, great sound quality and volume, large screen but with a slim design - not bulky
Cons: a case is an absolute must to prevent breaking

Samsung in my opinion hit it out of the park with the S8 series!! I jumped back to Samsung, since my last experience was the S5 when it launched. (7 Plus). The only thing I'm missing is the 3D Touch, that's not saying Samsung doesn't know anything because there mysterious under the screen home button works very well so I look forward to that playing a big role in upcoming launches. Samsung makes up for that with the S8's amazing screen, performance (processor/battery), appearance (looks/touchwiz), size wise it's just a little bit taller than my 7 Plus, crisp looking pics with the front and rear snapper. Once you get the iris scanner figured out it's as fast maybe faster than the fingerprint sensor. I am overall very pleased/satisfied with the new S8+. I would recommend this device to friends and foes alike. So if your debating on it just stop and do it already!!

Cons: haven't found anything yet!!

I can believe the camera and its software, the selective focus, I can use my own ISO as I am a professional.
Besides the quantity of different designs and set up options to make it your own.
