S8+ has some good features, but a few problems

The screen and video enhancement capabilities look nice. The Google Assistant which come on the phone is extremely useful for Smart devices within the house. I've grown accustomed to using it with my Hue lights as I navigate my house. The only reason for the 3 stars is the software is a bit too buggy. Every 24 hours my settings reset (e.g. my keyboard settings and Install Unknown Sources option) I develop apps for work. This makes it annoying to deal with typing, which is used often on a smartphone. I'm too used to using the bixby button and expecting Samsung Health like on my S7.
Other than the software issues, the hardware is nice. I love the big screen with its high resolution.

The Samsung pay, Bixby, finger print feature

I an so pleased with the Galaxy s8 plus, there are so many features that it would be a shorter list of the things that you cannot due with the phone, which I have yet to find something that it does not due so that should say it all, I am so glad I came back to Samsung. I will never get any other phone EVER!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal Samsung customer since 2011, the newest iteration of the S series is a major improvement even though the S7 was hard to beat!

Bixby button is only problem I can find other than auto-correct; which is a problem with any phone

I've had my new S8+ for about 11 days and cannot find anything really wrong with it other than the placement of the Bixby button directly across from the power button, which brings up Bixby when I'm trying to turn the display off. I use Verizon and have some problems with what they call a backup and how my information transferred to the S8+. Contacts were missing information and data for all apps was not transferred.
Pros: Bright display, battery time, quick charge, size
Cons: button placement, sd card/sim slot
