I really love my Galaxy S8+. it is one of my favorite phones this year. but like many or all of the phone out there. It has one major flaw....... Bixby.. every time I pick up my phone I hit Bixby. if I want to increase the volume for my music.......Bixby. lower my music? Bixby. there is no way to turn it off. ( yes I know i can turn it off . but once you hit the Bixby button. Bixby turn on again ) Google assistant does not work like it does on my Pixel XL.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, water resistant
Cons: bixby

So far it has been an easy phone to switch over to. Not too confusing but some data did not transfer with the Samsung smart switch app. Still trying to get used to some of the extra features but I am very pleased up till now.
Pros: Bright display, came with 3 chargers

2 resets in 48hrs and subpar upgrade over S7 Edge

I really really wanted to like this phone. I was going from the S7 Edge to S8 plus and I expected great things. Unfortunately my expectations were met with reality. The phone went through a series of resets within the 48hrs or so of use (prior to my return) so I did not get a great user experience. I also got frustrated that several of my apps had compatibility issues with the disappearing buttons at the bottom of the device. Several times I had to turn the phone off and then log back on in order to reset the app I was using because the navigation buttons would not turn on. I am not sure if I was hit with a flawed unit or if this is just growing pains but either way I was not impressed a bit with this phone. The screen size was the best feature and yet that was not even a grand presentation.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
