As a long time Samsung Galaxy owner, I was prepared to use and like my new phone. It has an awesome camera. I found it pretty easy to set up, so that was good too. The battery life is excellent. It doesn't take too long to recharge the phone. One thing I don't like is that text messages from my family and friends (some who also have Samsung Galaxy phones) are not received instantaneously. Some taking over an hour to make it over to my phone. I never had that problem with my Galaxy 5. My husband has the same problem (we have identical new phones).
Great phone slightly better than the last version.

The phone is absolutely beautiful to look at but feel delicate in ur hands. I would suggest getting a strong case Pros: beautiful screen, slim and sleek body, Batter life is wonder, charging is fast, Cons: my finger often cover the speaker bc of the placement of it, placement of finger print sensor is weird
Switched from the iPhone 6s to the s8+ after holding this phone in store. I've handled other plus phones and felt they were too big. This phone fits perfectly in my hands. Great screen, easy to use. I'm on my phone a lot so the battery only lasts around 2 days but that's fine with me
So, i give this device 5 stars, despite having possibly the most annoying feature of any phone in the history of phones. The Bixby button. A dedicated button to a personal assistant that I just can't find value in. Even so much as looking at the button is enough pressure to trigger it, it would seem. It is confounding that it can't be remapped or disabled. No doubt a future update will address this, assuming Samsung listens to the community.
