I have always charged my phone wirelessly so the USB/Charging port is almost unused. The only time I use the USB port is when I connect Android Auto to my car. Not long ago I started to get connectivity problems, I thought it was the USB cable, so I bought a new one, same problem. I started to google the problem and it seem to be a very common problem. The port is broken for some odd reason. That have never happen to me before. I thought the new type C port was going to be sturdier, but sadly not. The problem affect several things, fast charging stop working, connecting to a computer or car becomes impossible.
I bought my phone a day shy of four months ago and the screen went gray and it doesn't function at all. A total waste of money! Now I have an expensive paper weight. It didnt fall or anything just stopped working!
Great phone, I've only had it for a couple of weeks and am still getting used to it. The screen is wonderful and photos are very sharp. It is taking me a bit to learn about all of it's features.
I've had to buy this phone twice and both times the screen just went out completely. and the insurance won't pay to fix it b/c the scene was cracked in the corner. this is probably the WORST phone is have ever had.
I have quite a few samsung products tvs and phones were great but the battery expanded pushed the back out afraid it is goning to explode i use the samsung wireless charger
It's been 6 months since I bought this phone and I have never experienced any issue with this phone. I upgraded to Android 9.0 pie and the new Samsung User interface known as One UI and it's the best I've seen from Samsung. It's now 2 years since this phone was introduced but it's the best Samsung has ever done.
