The WORST Phone In the World -- Nice Camera

The S8 as a phone is a disaster: the WORST keyboard options ever, bad battery life, poor wi-fi, Chrome doesn't work well, many apps dont work properly, heavy esoecially with any protective cover, touch screen sensitivity POOR, will not charge in some vehicles like Hyundai, wireless charging fails, security features bad or slow - iris and fingerprint reader fail repeatedly, passcode entry slow - sound volume on voice calls very low have to ALWAYS use speaker, Smart Switch software for transferring data from previous phone failed too many times had ro reenter data manually, blue tooth performance poor, speaker quality worse than samsung S3, phone will shut down on its own at any time, CALLER ID DISASTER no calling for 11 hours (IS THIS A PHONE?????), no more Samsung Memo & Samsung Notes Bad and can't read Memo files, phone is heavy and awkward to hold and use. HAVE TO TAP SCREEN ICONS MULTIPLE TIMES for response, BIXBY very BAD and useless, USBC no good have to carry adapter everywhere nobody sells them, same for micro sd card can't change without special pin lost the 1st week, can't use spare battery.
The Good : no fire, nice camera, bright screen as long as more than 5% battery left.
Use it as a camera only. Get another device for a phone.

Almost Perfect

The performance is killer. The design is gorgeous. This thing will turns heads. However, there are a couple of points that keep it from being absolutely perfect. First, the screen is too soft. I haven't had it two weeks and already I have a scratch on the display that I can't figure out. I've never dropped the phone. It hasn't resided in the same pocket as my keys. I've never had a screen scratch so easily, but now I need to figure out how I'm going to clean that up. Second, the phone launched without Bixby being fully activated. I'm not sure why we need yet another digital assistant if Google Assistant is baked into Android, but there's Bixby. Last, the speaker is kinda weak. I'm coming from a different phone that had stereo front facing speakers. I will miss that feature. Other than that, I love this phone, and look forward to the next two years with it - if the glass can hold up that long. The display is bright and sharp, the battery is phenomenal, and the snappy response of the system is greatly appreciated. Solid 4.5, almost a 5. Highly recommended.

Cons: fragile screen, single speaker

This phone is a joke. It advertises like it is bigger than the Note and it is not. it is too long and nothing new. They call this an upgrade. The ringtones are horrible and I wanted a bigger screen and this phone has not lived up to the price.

I have always been a big believer in samsung products but after getting the galaxy s8 plus I am more longer one. When we got our new phones I loved them but because of the edge feature, which I'm not a fan of, we couldn't keep our screen protectors on. Even the ones that Verizon put on for us lasted a week maybe. And we must of bought about 8 all together before we gave up on them. So my husband was hunting the one day sitting in the tree stand, takes the phone out of his pocket to see the time, screen was fine. He takes it out again a half an hour later and it is cracked all over the place. He was sitting the whole time never hit it or anything and the screen is all messed up. And of course warranty doesn't cover physical damage. So we are not at all satisfied with this product.

Greatest headset....HANDSDOWN!!!

I was never a fan of the S Series because I was attracted to the bigger Note series. I had the Note 7 which we all know was a disaster and PR NIGHTMARE. So in order to compensate for my lost in the Note Series I opted for the S8 Plus which has exceeded every expectation I had or the internet had. Being hardheaded, I did not get a case for the phone, I dropped my phone a total of 7 times before I ended up making a small (Very Small) crack in the bottom right corner. When I had an iPhone, it broke on the first drop which happened to be on mulch. I recommend people in the market for a new phone to DEFINITELY get this phone (S8 or S8+). I CAN NOT wait for the NOTE 8. I am currently finishing up a 12 Episode Series you will be able to watch on youtobe via the Galaxy 8+. Really funny stuff!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: finger print scanner in annoying spot.
I would recommend this to a friend!
