Really wonderful phone, performance, screen, speakers are top notch. Battery life is great, perhaps the best Samsung phone yet!

I thought that the Samsung notes would be the best lines of phones ever, but this S8 Plus takes the cake. This phone is literally the future
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, fast

Did not receive the VR Gear as promised and some apps do not work with this phone

I submitted the information on 4/21/17 for the free VR Gear and STILL have NOT received it from Samsung and no one at Samsung can assist further than what I can see myself when I check the status on the promotion page. What a scam.
Pros: water resistant
Cons: Did not meet expectations, speaker quality is poor, phone is difficult to hear in speaker mode
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm addicted to this phone. It's features are easy to use. There was one problem I had with the phone is you can't use factory sound once you've set it to Zedge or whatever.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Worst Samsung Phone I have ever had

This phone will not connect to half of my bluetooth devices even though it says the phone is paired! Calls to Sprint Technical support have proven fruitless.
Very disappointed and frustrated
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, bluetooth does not work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is the best phone on the market. The battery life is amazing! It lasts all day and charges really fast! I've been using Android phones for years. But when the phones battery became non-removable I had to switch to an iPhone because my battery would drain before noon. It doesn't make sense to have a fancy phone that you can't use!
As always, the screen resolution is crystal clear! Everything is vivid when I am watching a movie or going through my photos.
My only wish is that they make the fingerprint reader in a more accessible location, like the Nexus 6P, but otherwise the phone is flawless.

I'm so unhappy with my S8+ (955U1). Apparently, warranty only covers in US. So I'm not in US anymore, I have a bootlooping bricked-8.0 phone.
