Had to replace Samsung 5 active. Got the Samsung 8plus . Highly recommend Samsung products. Last along time everything u want on a phone and more. Slick design.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Too big

I don't recommend this phone for people who have small hand. Phone is actually huge.
They will be hard to use finger print sensor. When you put the phone on a desk, then you have to actually lift up the phone to use finger print to unlock the phone if you want to use the fingerprint sensor.

I am a big fan of Galaxy line of phones. I was upset with the note 7 issue and was not going to come back to Samsung. I was less than impressed to hear another phone was coming out. I checked out the S8 event and I was like hmmmmm. I was very impressed with all the new features. The display is amazing on this phone. The camera is the best I have seen. The speed of the phone is great. I wish it came with Bixby sense it was promoted during the event. I recommend this phone as I think it is the phone of 2017!

I submitted the information on 4/21/17 for the free VR Gear and STILL have NOT received it from Samsung and no one at Samsung can assist further than what I can see myself when I check the status on the promotion page. What a scam.
Pros: water resistant
Cons: Did not meet expectations, speaker quality is poor, phone is difficult to hear in speaker mode
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
