Lock System is Terrible- Lost everything

A glitch happened with the lock pattern and it locked me out. The only way to get back in was to factory reset.
Lost everything.
Also it has advertisement on voicemail apps because Samsung doesnt make a voicemail app.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, glitchy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could not believe my eyes!

I have been waiting for this device all my life. A phone that does not look the same as every wireless phone. Seeing the ads and pictures just does not do this phone justice. I knew I would be in shock once I saw it in person. So I decided to wait for my galaxy s8 plus to arrive to my home. Yes, you guessed it. I could not believe my eyes! Wow, were the first words that came out of my mouth. Then my jaw dropped, for about a few seconds. Then I stared at my shinny new phone. It's sexy curves and dips was a sight to see. The feel of it's body and smooth glass shell is breath taking. I'm happy that I waited all my life for the right phone. It feels good to not be like the rest and stand out of the crowd with something revolutionary.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, the quality is superb.
Cons: can't find one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got my new Galaxy S8 Plus and I'm enjoying it so far, trying all the function on it, I can't complain at this moment.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Excellent phone..hands down,the most elegant phone..performance, top notch..camera, too good, Bixby, yet to get in touch.
The finger scanner is not as akwardly positioned as mentioned in expert reviews. I can put a finger on it without touching camera lens and ya without looking at it.

The iris unlock is much better and the new sleek design is easier for my hands to hold.

No real USB C

Very dissapointed that this phone does not really seem to have USB C other than the connector. It only comes with a 2.0 Amp regular USB charger and the included cable is only USB C on one end the other end is regular USB dont know if it is 2.0 or 3.0.
Phone wont connect to my USB C port except in low power mode, it wont transfer files. If I put a USB C to USB 3.0 hub on that same port and use the cable the phone came with it connects but of course that at USB 3.0 or less. So all in all no high speed data transfer or high speed charging. I really expected better from Samsung after the Note 7 disaster.

Samsung's Flagship S8+

I pre-ordered the S8+ and have been reading the reviews, but having it in my hands has brought together the ideas that the reviewers have been talking about. Of-course there are some of the features that I could care less about and some that I would just rather were not there, but all - in - all I am happy with this device! I ordered on for my wife and have recommended it to several of my friends! Great going Samsung!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, new power port
Cons: very expensive!, new power port
