I am super disappointed in the lack of durability in the Samsung Galaxy S8. I am also disappointed in how the infinity screen really does not look infinity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I was hoping for

My wife and I recently changed carriers, and as a result, we needed some new phones. We switched from notes because the stylus function wasn't that important to us. We've been incredibly happy with the Galaxy S8 so far. The screen is fairly large, yet isn't incredibly bulky or cumbersome. The battery lasts significantly longer than I'm used to. I've been using it moderately today for Facebook and the occasional game between chores for the last 14 hours, and I'm still sitting at 38% battery. It does what I need it to do. The only thing I would caution is getting a case that does not have a screen protector, and getting a screen protector separately. With my lifeproof case, there are "bubbles" due to it not adhering directly to the screen, and you can feel clicks in certain areas due to the gap between the protector and the glass.
I would recommend this to a friend!
