Disappointment

Honestly I never complain but I am so disappointed in the S8+. First of all I use my phone for business and hate having a bulky cover so I rock a screen cover and no phone cover so I can put it in my pocket often. This phone design has a seam that catches my hair in the edge constantly to the point that my hair is stuck in the seam and ripped out. It recently caught my hair to the extent that i dropped the phone. During my trial period. I was planning on bringing the phone back because of its design but instead I got stuck paying an additional fee for a replacement phone. Three phone design it's terrible. It's heavy and cumbersome not too mention I have too but a bulky case just too protect my hair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad purchase for the money

For the price paid, the phone should be MINE to use as I see fit. You need a google account AND a Samsung account for anything on the phone to work. Samsung sucks my contacts, photos, etc to their cloud and google tracks my every move. And Samsung pay, what a joke. When I could have reached for my credit card and swiped it, now I have to reach for my cel phone, UNLOCK IT, then use it to pay. At least 5 times longer than just using the card. WHY??? Think I will go back to a flip phone for the privacy.

The S8+ reminds me of an overegineered car. So many bells and whistles 80% of which are unneeded that you can't figure out how to get to the 20% you actually care about. Complete waste of money. Keep your old phone and don't bother!!!
