Very disappointed

I have had my device for a physical year; the phone has not been abused or dropped it is in a durable case (not otter)...the phone battery got down to 1% and then the lcd screen went black! I can't access the screen or anything on the phone... This device was expensive and to have the lcd screen just black out was very disappointing. I have been a Samsung consumer for many years and purchase most products (large and small) from them along with most of my families cellular devices...
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, many features, excellent camera/ video
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not a value with defects
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turned in my Note for this upgrade. Very pricey but wanted to be one of the first to get it. Some sort of deal allowed me to get one for hubby (he's hooked; when not charging it it sits at his place at table). The only issue we encounter now and then is fact that steel roof will not always provide us with good signal (not a Samsung issue) and we therefore still have a landline.
To be perfectly honest, at least six months and I have yet to understand and use all this phone's capabilities.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, many available cases & protectors available
Cons: rubber cover to charger will not last long, still having issues with bluetooth
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this phone i just wish it had a screen that was not avle to crack so easily the should make screen where its not able to crack although i have bought a case and tempered screen protector and my phone is still in good shape it would be nice to have that feature

Great performance, sounds great. Does what it's advertised to do. No issues.
Wish it did not come with all the preinstalled stuff, I like to run lean and mean.
Pros: Bright display, responsive
Cons: too many apps preinstalled, can't remove some apps

I got my Galaxy S8+ in the summer of 2017. This has been a great phone ever since. I love the design of the phone the most. And the price of the phone is fair with everything it has. It sure packs a punch.

Samsung has done it again with the Samsung Galaxy S8+, it is clean & pristine & smooth & fast & lightweight with all the latest top of the line tech packed inside & it's exterior is just gorgeous, the new S & Note lines are by far the most beautiful devices Samsung has made aesthetically !
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is another AMAZING high end flagship Smartphone from Samsung !!!
I have been using my S8+ for 3 months now & I absolutely LOVE it, it is not the Note which is what I am used to however the phone is just as good as the Note it just doesn't have the S-Pen is all, I have not had any issues with my S8+ thus far, I have nothing bad to say about the device, it is top of line quality build from Samsung, everything has worked smoothly & perfectly for me with top notch speed, the S8+ is an AMAZING phone, the only devices that can even compete with it muchless best it are Samsung's Note 8 & the new S9 & S9+, no other companies make devices can compete with Samsung's flagship Galaxy Smartphones & Tablets & Smartwatches !
I am an Android fan & when it comes to Android Smartphones I am an avid Samsung fan, Samsung sold me with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 & since then I have been a loyal Samsung customer & fan !

I have been an Iphone user for as long as I can remember. Lately my Iphone broke and I was contemplating weather to buy an Iphone X or try the Samsung galaxy S8+. I went to the store and was amazed by the quality of the design and the display resolution. I tried out the camera and it was a whole new world. I am a art student therefore, the camera is a really important element for my work. I have to say that I have never been happier to take a risk and try a new brand of phone. Samsung Galaxy S8+, was all what I was looking for and much more!

Probably one of the best phone have ever own but there is a catch tho, The screen is easily broken.
