Samsung phones keep improving and again, this upgrade is the best!

Although my family members have upgraded recently, I'm coming from the Note 4. It was getting old and laggy so I decided I could no longer wait for the anticipated launch of the Note 8.
This phone is nothing less than impressive. Beautiful, blazing fast and the battery just keeps going and going.
Very easy on the eyes and comfortable to hold. I gave up hoping that someday I might see a phone with a physical qwerty keyboard but going to full buttonless seemed unnatural. Fear is quenched.
I read a few reviews complaining about the awkward position of the fingerprint sensor but it works flawlessly for me - much better and faster than the Note 4. The facial recognition is another story. I gave up on it but it's not a big deal to me.
Only gripes are the non - replaceable battery and the curved screen which makes it so hard to use a quality screen protector. That aside, I think this phone will serve me well for a while.
Pros: Bright display, speed, battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I can't keep my hands off my GALAXY S8+. There is so many features built in to this phone that even after owning it for a month I am still finding jaw dropping features. I had previously owned the GALAXY S4 but gave that to my father as he is just starting his career as a smartphone owner. And now I see first hand on how far the Galaxy has come since the S4. What a leap of technological brilliance. Samsung has done it again. Keep up the eye popping work and you will have a customer for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time Samsung releases a new Galaxy, I buy it hoping that this time it will be great. Disappointed again. Screen is dull, hard to see at all in sunlight. Retina scan nor the face recognition is worth much as neither function with any regularity. Camera is nothing to write home about. Sound is just plain bad. Side menu is pointless. I imagine this will be my last attempt with the Galaxy line. Long on promise, short on delivery.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, Poor quality, dull screen, bad sound, weak camera, weak security features
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

surprising battery power

I was initially disappointed with there not being a removable power source, but the battery seems to hold up quite well with constant use. call quality is also a huge improvement from my last phone. Does what a phone should do... and does it well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the phone. Samsung pay is great, and the hardware design is second to none. I just wish Samsung stepped up their game on the software side. Yes, they have come a long way but to make us wait for a main feature they bragged about ( Bixby Voice) is not acceptable for a company as big as Samsung. If something isn't ready for prime time, then don't advertise it. If a feature is advertised, I expect it to be a great experience out of the box...

samsung galaxy phones are getting better with each new model! i can be a little forgetful, so having this phone is my personal savior. i can keep track of my appointments, meetings, birthdays and even when the latest shoe brand drops! this phone allows me to keep track of my workouts and my meal plans. galaxy is even there if i need to monitor my sleep patterns. i can do all of this and so much more, plus i can look stylish while doing it! with this awesome high resolution camera, i can flick pics to add to my many reminders! there are enough options for me to get all the storage space i need, and then some! with so many ways to customize, i'll always be galaxy forever!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: screen is easily scratched
I would recommend this to a friend!
