Go with the LG G6. The S8 fingerprint is junk. Lg G6 is spot on. Believe me, I have both and when the Samsung is paid off, it goes for auction.

Constantly dropping calls and I can barely hear on it most of the time. I had the Note 5 and it was stolen. This phone was the biggest mistake

NOT worth the money

The phone has a lot of issues that I find hard to deal with. First let me start by saying all my previous phones were WIndows phones and I guess I was used to a lot better OS than Android. One major problem is battery life, the phone seems to have problems with background apps killing battery, even when they are turn off. Right now as I am typing this, the phone has been in the off position with no background apps running and has lost 5% of battery life? My Windows phone used to last the entire day, this phone is on charge by lunch or before depending on how busy I am that day. A second big problem is voice comands with SYNC in my F150. The phone doesn't announce who is the incoming call, you can't voice text person from remote. You have to use Google to accomplish this and so the phone is never truly hands free from the factory.
I haven't figured out a way to change the volume for the alarms and make it different than incoming calls. The Text notification system is spotty at best, sometimes it does, sometimes it don't. I find myself constantly looking down to see if text has come in because I don't trust the notification process.
The phone lacks a lot of capabilities that my window phone did right out of the box. I find that you have to download an app to make anything on this phone work at all. After 10 days of using the phone I am taking it back to ATT for something else.

Was wanting a bigger phone after purchasing a iphone 6s plus for my daughter. The S8 plus came out so I waited and read on the reviews, and watched alot of YouTube videos. Decided to upgrade and I am so happy I did. The screen size is perfect. It's not over sized but it is larger than my S7. It is an amazing device and I am so happy I upgraded. The screen is a hybrid between the edge and a flat screen. It's nice. If you are debating about trying it just do it. You won't be let down. The battery life is amazing. I use my phone a lot for entertainment and it keeps on going where my S7 would have been dead hours ago. It really has been the biggest and most appealing device I have owned so far. I love this phone.

Although it's a list full of things I would say that's wrong with the S8 plus I'm just going to sum it up would a few. For starters the Bixby button serves no purpose. The volume for incoming and outgoing calls on the phone is horrible and don't even get me started on the battery life. I feel like Samsung needs to go back-to the drawing board with this one at least a super upgrade that can be downloaded. So hopefully this can happen before September or I might be going back to Apple
