Pros: Very responsive, sound quality is top notch. Screen is bright and easy to read outdoors. Easy to set up. Delivery was quick. Lightweight

Mixed feelings

I bought this phone in May 2017, So I have had it for 3 months now. The camera is great but just yesterday it stopped working without any warning. I was playing a game and charging at the same time and it just turned itself off and that was the end of it.
I used all the technical support I could get on line and from my phone provider and it still won't come back on.

This is a first for me. This is very unreliable and irritating.

It's all irrelevant until I can get BIXBY OFF THIS PHONE

So far I've never had a new cellphone that I didn't like. Each one is better than the one before. This is my third Samsung. It will be my last if they don't provide a way to get their annoying Bixby personal assistant off the phone. There is a button placed on the side right where I grab the phone so I frequently wake up Bixby just in handling the phone. So far any tips I've found by searching online have not worked. There is an app on Play Store that might help but, really? I have to buy a third party app to disable this?
Don't force stupid apps on your users.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing phone but....

This phone has to be the best I have owned to date but..... the texting capability on this particular model is extremely frustrating! I have tried tweaking the size of the keyboard, different types of keyboards and get the same results. The predictive text or possibly the auto correct is too aggressive. I have saved my customer words etc and it still will replace them without hesitation. Back to the keyboard, I don't know if it is me or not (it's not) but I have asked 3 other s8+ owners and they all say the keyboard/texting feature went down hill. Mashing the keys you want tend to go to something you never expected to type unfortunately. Over all I give it about a 4.5 out of 5, fix the keyboard and the 5 is all yours Samsung!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, most beautiful pictures to date, fast processor, screen size
Cons: Did not meet expectations, keyboard/texting, bixby needs more apps (spotify), samsung pay for internet purchase

I've had this samsung s8 for almost a week now. I like the sleek design. The only hiccup I've encountered so far is with Bixby. For the first 2 days Bixby was working fine. I was able to send message to my contacts, adjust settings on my phone and even ask for jokes. On the third day, I wasn't able to do any of those. Bixby kept saying she ran into some hiccups and try again later or something went wrong. I was almost getting use to using Bixby but now its just frustrating that I don't want to use Bixby anymore.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: bixby was unresponsive after day 2

Advice to future purchasers.

It's really a great phone in regards to functrions, APPS, style, looks and feel.
There is only one advice that I would recommend to those who are interested in this phone. You should first make sure you read and understand all features and functionalities on the subject for locking and unlocking your cell phone. Especially if your memory isn't up to speed as it use to be. Second, you immediately setup your Sumsung account information and setup remote access on your phone so you can remotely control your phone from a PC.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, full scdreen display, full touch screen applications, no home button
