i lost my s8 edge plus so got new phone from samsung but quality is subpar. do not have the quality of original product.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, Poor quality

All my smartphones have been Samsung and love this phone like all the rest i have purchased.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big

Love the phone.... hate the curved screen

I have had galaxy's now for the last 6 or 7 years I guess.... I love the phone, camera, features, speed etc.... the only complaint I have is the curved screen-it breaks TOO EASY and you cannot easily protect it.... I really wish you would go back to both a curved and flat screen option. I have broken 3 screens in my life... all curved, all samsung galaxy phones.....
Pros: excellent camera
Cons: too easy to crack the screen

Good Phone, still prefer an IPHONE

I just think iPhones are easier to use and wish I hadn't switched. (not convenient when all my family and friends use iPhone and we want to pass pictures back and forth, or all my music and videos are apple based.)
That said this phone has a lot of neat features you can't get with iPhone. The finger print system is easier to use and I love the screen. Let us not forget the headphone jack. HUGE plus there.

I would encourage friends who are sold on iPhones to consider this phone. It's a sturdy phone and think most people would like it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, headphone jack, more free options for screensavers and ringtones
Cons: i just find it harder to use than an iphone

I've had to replace this phone 3 times in less than a year and all for reason by no fault of my own. I loved my S5 but I have pleasing to get out of my contract with this phone. I am sorry to say this will be my last samsung phone. I love all my other products to date but they went wrong somewhere along the way with their quality in phones.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, shut off and never came back on "known problem".

I have upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ to the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and what a major leap it was.
The colors are so vibrant, and the Infinity Display is unbelievably gorgeous.
There are three color options: Arctic Silver, Midnight Black, Orchid Gray.
The Galaxy S8+ comes with Android 7.0 (Nougat) but this will be updated to Android 8.0 (Oreo).
You also get a set of Samsung Earphones tuned by AKG (gray) at not additional cost to you.

I upgraded from the Note 4 to the S8 plus. It's amazing and has amazing features. The only thing I hate is sometimes bixby does not work with software upgrades.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is a great phone for 2017 onward. This phone tops all of Apple's current line up. Love the features and design and quality. Recomend this phone. Also, since the phone runs android, it is really customizable.
