Worst phone ever

For such a high cost for a phone and then some for a case you'd think it wouldn't break. My screen has shattered twice now. I've never broken a phone before in my life. I've never dropped this phone either. One minute it's fine and the next it's shattered. It was in my purse all day next to my cloth wallet. I never set my purse down nor did it get hit/leaned on/thrown/etc.. I pull out the phone and it's shattered. I'm so frustrated and angry that something this expensive would break for no apparent reason. TWICE. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is absurd. I want my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst android phone EVER

The Galaxy S8+ is by far the worst android phone I've ever owned. Reception is horrible. Went out of the country with this phone and couldn't sign on to our hotels WiFi. My daughter's iPhone had absolutely no issues during our trip. The supposedly indestructable gorilla glass isnt so indestructable. The change in my pocket chipped and cracked my screen just walking around. BIXBY is Samsung's rebuttal to SIRI....Horrible placement for the button. Constantly opening up during regular operation of this phone. HORRIBLE design flaw there. I am truly ANTI IPHONE and have been satisfied with my past purchases of samsung phones however, they dropped the ball with this phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

S8+ - Very Fragile

I concur with many who have stated that this phone is very fragile and the screen cracks very easily even with a screen protector and case. Make sure you have insurance! Also, where is Bixby Voice???? I think that was a main reason most bought this phone.

The Best Switch I've Made

I had an iPhone for YEARS. I hadn't used an android device since 2010 or so, but I was starting to miss it and had toyed with the idea of changing back recently rather than upgrading my iPhone 6 to whatever ridiculousness Apple was coming out with.
My sister got the s8 and playing with it made up my mind. I upgraded to the 8 plus and couldn't be happier.
Everything about the phone blows every iPhone I've used out of the water. I love being able to hide all my apps if I don't want them on the screen, the side swipe menu is a godsend. The camera is fantasic, the screen is so sharp and bright. The device is fast and so fun to use. It has great battery saving capabilities, and tells you when you can optimize your storage and battery use better. I was at Disneyland for 12 hours (taking pictures, texting, some social media usage) and I walked out with over 30% on my battery with the medium battery saving mode.
I used Google Photos and Google stuff for all of my information/email/calendar/etc. and this auto uploads pictures when I take them without me having to do anything and seamlessly integrates whatever app you want as your default.
The ONLY thing I can complain about is that I love using fingerprint for things and when you're up and holding your phone the fingerprint works great (I have a case that makes the spot super easy to find/use), but I work at a desk all day so my phone is usually laying down on the table, which means I have to pick it up to sign into things with my finger rather than being able to do it on the front.
I'm still getting used to switching from iOS to android, but its been amazing so far.

Not easy to maneuver through, hard to find apps, very difficult to change settings and have them stay that way and reception is the worst. My s5 was so much better
