Flaky app.

camera worked fine when I set it up at the house. i took it to my cabin, removed the device from the app, reset the camera using the button. The camera found the router, but would never connect to the app. I removed and reinstalled the app. reset the camera multiple times and it would never reconnect. i returned it and bought a swann camera which works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outgoing sound quality is terrible, which makes the microphone feature fairly useless. The geofencing feature in the app is unreliable and therefore makes the notifications from cameras worthless. Basically they're just cameras you can view via Wifi

The camera will not stay connected to my network. It will intermittently disconnect and will not reconnect. The camera is in the same room as my WiFi router. The Honeywell Base Station with camera in another room stays connected and camera online.

Speak back function is way too quiet. Lots of noise when monitoring the room. Video works well though.

Swing and a miss for Honeywell. This camera doesn’t deliver. Drops off connection, and when it is connected an elephant can walk past it undetected. Been unplugged for months.

I got 59 text messages one night while I was doing some work in front of the camera. I would like to be notified when someone is in the room while I'm away but I was home and I thought the camera would know that based on the app that is one my phone

Camera is easy to set up and works well except most of the time the picture appears in black and white instead of color. To be fair, the picture quality and color may be a result of your WiFi signal strength. Other than that it’s pretty reliable.
