Used this brand in the past and I am using it now.

The last one I had, same model, lasted for five years! Some window ACs, these days, don’t even last that long. It was time for another when the other started to slow down but for the price and quality you really can’t beat it. Plus it does cool down my room enough so I can sleep comfortably with my chihuahua. I know some people say this brand doesn’t work well but maybe they didn’t follow the directions on how to keep it clean or how to use it. I just bought once for my widowed father for Father’s Day, so I hope that gets here before then. He is tough for 82 year old but this Florida humidity can get to anyone and the window AC he bought last year wasn’t a reliable brand. It broke after one year and the retailer will not honor the warranty. So instead of fighting those morons, I bought him this, which I know will outlast the other brand. Thanks for listening.

Not supported, No nstructions on repair

I realize this is the low end of a/c's, but I installed last year at the end of summer and this year, now that summer is here again, it won't even turn on. There are no useful instructions, as they don't want you repairing anything yourself, yet the model is not even available anymore. No parts available, no service manuals available. Useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry to hear that your Haier room air conditioner is not turning on and operating as it should. This is certainly not normal operation, nor the quality that we expect, and we truly apologize.
Your air conditioner has a one-year limited warranty, therefore, we recommend initiating a warranty claim. You can refer to page 20 of the owners manual at the link below for instructions on how to do so.
