We bought this 5 1/2 years ago and the fridge portion has now died. So expensive and they do not last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Literally has a screw loose

Just installed the new fridge and am pretty disappointed. The door ajar alarm is so quiet that you can barely hear it even when you are in the kitchen. Also, the first batch of ice had a little surprise in it... a metal screw embedded in one of the ice cubes, I wonder where that came from?
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this fridge after our old fridge broke down. We were focused on making sure it fit our space, had good interior space, layout, etc. Turns out, this fridge is almost identical to the Gallery version that died on us. There are minor differences, mainly cosmetic, but the biggest difference would likely have been a no-go if any of the actual documentation and written specs stated it anywhere! Frigidaire and/or Electrolux seem to go out of their way to hide the fact that the display on this particular version of their fridge will not show the actual temperature reading. All it shows is the temperature that you choose to set it at. You can cross your fingers and hope it will kick in to take the temperature down to your desired setting but you will never know if it actually has unless you go out & buy a separate fridge thermometer. What a let down! It might say "Refrigerator/Freezer Temp" on the display but it is not... it is only the temperature setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
