Basic, just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last fridge died after 7 years. We were rescued by our 23 year old fridge in the basement. Lots of reviews later we chose this one. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles to break. The ice machine is in the freezer - makes sense doesn’t it? It’s roomy and the doors fit a lot of the little stuff. The shelf layout is hard to fit large milk / juice but we moved shelves and got settled in. The handles and finish don’t show the smudges too badly, but we polished it with Milsek Stainless Cleaner and it shines. The downside is the ice maker is hard to get to and has a tendency to spill cubes down under, but the dog doesn’t mind. The ice could be a bit smaller too. But, it’s fine, it’s ice. It does make noises like any reviewers complained about but, it’s running and I know it is. I miss the days of quality products that last the life of two or three units creating less waste, so I’m really hoping this fridge lasts

The New Frigidaire

We have never had a lower freezer and are finding it great for our current needs The only problem is that the French doors do not line up perfectly. We were told by the store owner that that was just the way they ALL came from the manufacturer, that they had adjusted them as much as possible and there was nothing more they could do. Certainly the unevenness does not impede the working, but I find it very sad that - apparently - all double-door Frigidaires come somewhat defective and that is seemingly okay. Is this okay with you?

An average featured refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after a similar model but a different brand kept losing coolness due to cooling fan problems. In comparison , the other brand had some preferred features like just a button to press for ice and you only had to open one door to get in a single vegetable drawer . I find the Frigidaire irritating when I have to open both doors to get something out of vegetable bins. It is sometimes a bit noisy especially when ice is dropping. Plus, they installed the door with the added rubber on it on the right side and I was told before if you open this door first that the rubber wears away. I’m right- handed so I’m always forgetting and opening that door first! So far, everything is working so I’m happy about that, but my mom’s Frigidaire is still running downstairs and it is such a wonderful quiet Frigidaire and all the bins are EASY to get in and out of!
