Efficient, Roomy, Better than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had refrigerator for 3 months and we just love it. I had sworn off another french door refrigerator. This one has more room than I could have imagined. My refrigerator does not look crammed now. I think why I like it so much more than the one I replaced with this new one we didn't get the water and ice on the left door. We still get plenty of ice from the ice machine but I can't comment enough about the room this refrigerator has. The freezer space is so big as well. Whoever designed this, really got it right when it comes to the practicality of it and the efficiency of being able to see everything that is in the refrigerator and freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy With Purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying to find a quality refrigerator in today’s market is a very tall task. We initially purchased another refrigerator that starts with a “W,” with problems beginning almost immediately. Instead of requesting a replacement of the same refrigerator, we opted to change brands and we are very glad we did. We did pay more for this refrigerator, but it has a larger capacity, and it appears to be better built. The doors are heavy, and feel substantial when opening and closing them. There is plenty of space for in-door storage as each door offers four (4) bins a piece, and the shelves adjust easily. The freezer also offers plenty of space to accommodate a large volume of frozen food. The gradual led illumination is a nice feature, particularly when sneaking late-night snacks in a dark kitchen, ha!
Cons are few, but I will say that due to the weight of the doors, and amount of in-door storage, the doors will easily slam shut as a result of the weight. The ice maker is s.l.o.w to make ice, so be aware if your family uses a high volume of ice. Further, the ice bucket is designed around the ice maker, which leaves a lower opening at the back of the catch tray. As a result, ice can and does drop out of the tray and into the bottom of the freezer. There is also not an inside water dispenser, which seems to be a standard feature on similarly designed refrigerator without the water/ice dispenser on the front of the appliance.
While this refrigerator is not perfect, it’s a good choice when compared with similarly priced refrigerators. We have been disappointed with other brands over the years and Frigidaire was recommended as a great, reliable no-frills fridge that will last. Time will tell, but so far we are very happy with our purchase.

Problems with product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the new Frigidaire for a few weeks now. Now sure it was set up correctly. Doors are hard to close, the light in the freezer doesn't always come on. Still trying to get the freezer temperature adjusted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

REAL NICE REFRIGERATOR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE BOUGHT IT ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND SO FAR IS WORKING WELL. WE REALLY LIKE THE FREEZER IN THE BOTTOM. THE FRENCH DOORS ARE NICE AND HAVE ALOT OF SPACE IN THE DOORS. IT HAS A LOT OF SPACE INSIDE THE FRIDGE ALSO.

Recently we have noticed the ice maker is kind of slow, and that there is a loud fan noise when we leave the door open too long. We called to schedule a warrantly appt to check what it was and we never heard back from anyone.

Hello Angie_1232! Thanks for your feedback! Have you changed your water filter? A slow ice maker could be an indication that it is time for the water filter to be changed in the refrigerator. Also, try to avoid leaving your refrigerator door open for too long.When leaving the door open, you're allowing warm air to come inside of the unit; which causes the compressor to kick on until the unit has cooled to the appropriate temperature.We hope this helps. Very quiet

Don't Buy Frigidaire!

We bought an entire Frigidaire package for our newly renovated cottage kitchen; Fridge, stove and dishwasher.
The fridge has needed to be repaired twice already - once the water system stopped working so no ice and next the fridge quit and required a new board. The fridge is loud and runs continuously.
The ice maker is so poorly designed that the cubes regularly fall behind the freezer door which prevents the door from closing properly. Anyone with a child knows that they will not bother dealing with the issue.
