Great features— but I am not an ice sculptor.

I enjoy the features and allocation of space on this fridge, but every day we must chisel away the pond of ice that ends up in the bottom of the freezer. This occurred even before water line was established.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge for the price

Frigidaire refrigerator

Did you know? Today’s compressors run much faster than in the past. Your compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound.

Poor quality

Frigidaire built a great quality product at one time. Those days are gone. The parts are now cheaply made and very low quality. The refrigerator constantly makes grinding/whistling noises and you can tell just by the way to door and shelves feel how cheaply this product is made. Very low quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job well

Hate the refrigerator

This is the pest purchase experience I can remember. Purchased on a Saturday, delivered that Monday. Deliverymen couldn’t hook up the ice maker line to the refrigerator. Didn’t remove all of the plastic and styrofoam. Didn’t adjust the doors. That’s the start.
The refrigerator was making a high pitch squeal when the compressor cycled. The dealer sent a technician who told me the right rear wheel was broken. I called the dealer to replace with one that wasn’t damaged. They told me it is a warranty issue. They ordered the parts. I had to hire a plumber to hook up the ice maker. The parts came in a week later and they couldn’t fix the broken wheel. Finally, they decided to replace refrigerator. Throughout the process my, son, wife and I had to miss a half day of work each because the dealer couldn’t give is a firm time for each of the warranty visits.
After they delivered the replacement refrigerator, they took the handles off the old and installed on the new and didn’t hook up anything or remove any of the packing or protection film or foam. I did it myself.
Worst of all this refrigerator squeals like the other one and it can be heard from two rooms away. Outrageous!

Keeps food fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed new fridge quickly to fit into galley kitchen. Not as tall as my previous, but more cubic feet. Need to bend deeply to reach smaller bottom draws for produce etc. Not comfortable.
