Great Simple Refrigerator

For someone looking for a good refrigerator with no external ice-maker, this is a good one. I still put in an ice-maker, and as long as you get the right ice-maker kit (for the right refrigerator) it wasn't too bad for even a DIY-fer like myself, and it only took up the top shelf.The only issue I have with the refrigerator is the lighting. I'm glade Whirlpool chose to use LED lights, but with only two light fixtures, it is not enough to light up the entire refrigerator when it starts to fill up; items gets in the way and darkens the interior. It would have been better if they had used segmented LED strips either in the corner edges of the back or in front of the shelves on each side.BTW, I'm replacing an old Whirlpool.

Perfect size

This refrigerator is the perfect size to fit in the kitchen cabinet and it has the storage capacity that we need. We wanted a side by side without ice and water in the door, this unit meets that requirement. It is very quiet while the compressor is running plus it cycles much less than the unit that it replaced. The freezer keeps the food frozen and frost free, yet the temperature control is set at mid-range (most economical setting) the refrigerator keeps the fresh food at the proper temperature while the fresh vegetables stay crisp in the middle drawer. I appreciate the LED lighting in both the refrigerator and freezer, this feature makes finding items much easier because it is so bright inside . It has a sleek modern look and matches well with our other appliances.

Great Refrigerator

I just bought this refrigerator to replace pretty much the same model from 20+ years ago. I am a faithful Whirlpool user. My old fridge was still running and we will put it to good use as a 2nd fridge in the garage. But I felt the need to replace due to age in general and energy savings. Whirlpool is the only way to go. It is quiet, looks great and fits well in my older kitchen. I had to go with the "smaller model" (notice the dimensions) as my cupboards and space would not allow the larger more popular models. I am very happy with being able to find the smaller model with this Whirlpool as I didn't really want to remodel my whole kitchen because of the fridge.Also, I didn't need the door water feature that all the others have. Thanks Whirlpool for a great product. Whirlpool is tried and true, my go-to.

We just got rid of our old Whirlpool refrigerator we have had for 44 years. It was still running when it left here. So we went with another Whirlpool. Do you think it will last as long?

I bought this a month ago to replace an 18 year old whirlpool fridge that always worked perfectly and the new fridge has been perfect from day 1, it is very roomy on both sides, normal settings are perfect for both the fridge and freezer and love the led lights just makes inside look good.

Great but not enough room

This refrigerator is excellent. The drawers for the vegetables keep everything perfectly--better than the other refrigerators we've had. But the storage capacity is not optimum for the size of the refrigerator, and the deli drawer is much too small
