This only takes ONE battery, and it works, truly well. I gave it only 4 stars, since I don't know if there are BETTER, of wireless "mice", of this type. Maybe it deserves 5 stars, and it's worth your consideration.

This mouse is my 2nd HP wireless mouse and if it lasts as long as the 1st I will be extremely happy. No reason to believe it won't, it appears to be a new and improved version and works as good if not better than #1.
