Good washer for price point

Unit does a nice job washing clothes; spins the right amount of water out of the garments and doesn't wrinkle. It seems much louder than my last washer and takes a lot longer to run a load (more than 1 hours). Also, necessary to keep loads light as the unit will "walk" with heavier garments.

I was told by my mother to always buy Amana because they will do the job.As long as I can remember my family have always bought appliances made by Amana so that is one reason i buy it today I think back to that very first refrigerator we got and that was back around 1970 and I never knew my father has to have it fix.and i have a washer and dryer air conditioners all made by amana i just bought a washer and dryer i gave the old one's to my son his wife love them not that i needed a new one enery it save is one of the best part of having the new one'sthe one i gave my son is over 25 year old that say a lot

I purchased my Amana Top load electric dryer about a month ago and it seems to dry my clothes much faster and with no wrinkles much faster than the dryer I had before. I would recommend this dryer to my friend's and think it will save us money by drying the clothes faster and not using as much electricity.

This appliance has all the features I need and does a great job washing. I think the spin cycle could be better. Garments seem to be damper than I think they should be upon completion of the spin cycle - but it's not a big deal. The companion dryer is more than up to the job of seeing that everything gets dried and all is well with my laundry world.
