Not as great

This would be better if you could do a full load but can not in order to try to get your clothes dry. It would be good if it was easier to open. I can not open the door at all. I have to do laundry when my son is home because I can not get the door to open.

I am an LG aficionado!! On the bedroom level, I have a LG washer and dryer. In the basement level where guests stay, I added a smaller set of LG washer dryer for their use and to save me trips to second floor with bedding and towels. Because I have a day care, I decided with the number of bibs, hand towels, washcloths etc. I use, it would be nice to have a washer dryer combo so I do not need to leave children unattended even for a few minutes. What a timesaver!!! My little ones help me with pressing the buttons and I am teaching them daily skills and being future LG users! I would only make one suggestion and that is that the washer switch to dryer mode automatically. I would gladly do another LG combo for this feature. Now I am looking to replace my refrigerator and you guessed it-- with an LG after a lot of research!! I love LG- reliable and nearly perfect. Please keep up the quality.

Never dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small house and have this combo unit. It is my first combo unit and I thought I would be okay with my clothes not drying all the way. I don't understand how other people say it dries because my things are still damp and hot and it smells like burning rubber

Easy and Convenient

I was skeptical at first, how can one machine effectively wash and dry my clothes and do it well? I wasn't used to a combo machine and I didn't think it would ever win me over, but it has. I am able to do laundry during the day when I am not home by using the delay feature. I put a load in the machine in the morning, delay it until the afternoon, press start, and it's ready to fold just after I walk in the door that evening. When you remove the need to switch laundry from the washer to the dryer you make laundry more convenient.
I recommend reading the manual and watching the videos because some things are not intuitive, like just washing or just drying, but once you figure them out it's easy. I would absolutely recommend this machine to others. The only down side I see is that even when I remove items as soon as it's done, some are still rather wrinkled. On the whole I think it's a fine trade off to be able to set it and forget it.

Worst ever Shakes the entire house.

Looks great, energy efficient, fits a small space BUT it doesn't dry the clothes and it literally shakes the entire house when it is operating. It has shaken the valves loose from the fittings causing a huge mess with water over the entire laundry room. Now I only operate it on medium spin and it still shakes the house.

It's like they've never heard of lint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for about 2 years. I've had to disassemble it 3 times to clean lint out of the inner drying mechanism. It passes so much lint through the drain that it backed up our entire sewer line within a year. We've tried lint filters, but it fills them completely and floods the house within 5-10 cycles. Would not install this in a multi-unit building because it causes such backup issues, and hard to justify the compact unit when you need a laundry sink to drain into to prevent all the overflows.
