Skeptical at first

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about an all in one at first, but I'm all in now with this LG model!
I only have a small space I could place a washer/dryer but didn't like how a stackable would look, so I took a chance on this all in one. I'm glad I did! I've had it for two months and have no complaints. Just so you know how I use it...I'm single, wash two, medium size loads a week.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found a way to get a complete wash in 51 minutes and use a dry cycle of either 30 or 60 minutes, with an extra ten minutes for cool down.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved into a new townhome where this washer/dryer combo was already installed. At first when you hear you have a combo like this you think to yourself, "wow, I can save space by having both combined into one." Unfortunately, I have had nothing but negative feelings about it. The clothes come out feeling like they didn't get washed correctly. Having clothes come out smelling unclean or the same way they were first put in is frustrating. Also, the amount of water that is left behind on the fabric softener container is insane. I wish I could exchange it or have it fixed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a loft with a closet for the washer and dryer; I had a stackable model. Great, but no real room to fold or anything else. Very crowded. AND the lint. In spite of having the dryer vented, the closet got pretty dusty. Now I have this unit. It's great. First the three downsides: The wash/dry cycle ranges from four hours to six, yes, six, hours. And some of my canvas work pants come out wrinkled. The rest of the cotton stuff comes out okay. Lastly, some of the cycle is a little loud. The upsides: Put the laundry in, start it, and go to bed, or work, or out. Come home, the laundry is DONE. No swapping machines. And DRY; like hot dry if you get the laundry out right away. No lint filter. AND absolutely dust free. Compact, yet it cleans just about as much as my old units.
The rubber seal around the rim of the washer melted off. The screws keep falling off and it makes the washer make a horrible loud sound. Our washer is only 4 years old but already garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 1 bedroom condo that doesn't allow vented W/Ds. This is a great option as something that my building allows - it may not be big and it may take awhile for a load to finish, but it works and its better than nothing.

Use a rock down by the creek instead, it's faster

Somewhere in Seoul there's an LG Executive that's laughing all the way to the bank on this one. After downloading the instruction manual I just ran a 1/2 load of synthetic tee shirts (7 total UA cool gear). It took over 3 hours and they are still hanging up in bathroom to dry, despite using the "More" setting of the '"optional"' dry cycle.
The first load my wife ran last night is still hanging in the living room.
We've been on the road for a week, so at this rate it will be about a week and a half to finish the laundry. I can usually hand wash and dry those same shirts in about an hour.
DO NOT BUY!!!!! MACHINE IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

We can certainly understand why you feel the way you do about your appliance right now. We want to change your pioneer experience to a 21st century of technology one. This is very disheartening to know that your LG Washer/Dryer Combo was unable to adequately heat or dry your clothing. In order to give you the best options available. We will be happy to further assist if you send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter with your contact information using the handle @LGUSSupport or call our customer service line at (800) 243-0000.~Tanisha

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to setup, very easy to use. Washes great. takes a long time to dry but it does the job. has a child lock which is great. We have used it for over a year and have no issues so far. I use it a small house that has no space for a normal washer and dryer.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
