Good for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer/dryer combo for more than six months. I bought the combo because I live in a tiny condo and the space for a stackable unit was too small. I like the washing machine overall. However, the dryer acts more like a steamer. I use a drying rack for every load as I take the clothes out of the dryer. They are very rarely completely dry. The wash and dry cycles for this machine are extremely long so I always use the speed wash setting(30 minutes). The clothes are clean using this cycle.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Can only wash a medium load of laundry
Takes 4-5 hours for a full wash and dry cycle
Clothes come out slightly damp and have musty smell
No easy way of cleaning to remove musty smell
Clothes come out extremely wrinkled

Hello and thank you so much for your review. Due to the unit being a Ventless Condensing system, it does not heat your clothing like a normal dryer. Because of this, it takes longer and is more efficient. It can also take longer depending on how full the drum is and that too can be causing wrinkles. Also, as per the manual, some environmental and usage conditions can cause a residue to build up in the tub over time and can lead to a mildewy or musty smell. The Tub Clean cycle is specially designed to remove this buildup using bleach or other cleaners designed specifically for cleaning washing machines. Run the Tub Clean cycle once a month, or more often under heavy use conditions or if odor is present. Please see the link below. ^AC

Really love this machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first washer-dryer that I've ever used. I was skeptical before trying it, but it's changed my mind. While it's not the fastest machine at drying, it gets the job done. It's perfect for my household (me and the wife). It's easy to use (I recommend reading the instructions before trying out the different modes). I've had one part break down, but it wasn't impossible or that costly to replace on my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG washer/dryer combo because my house had a size limitation based on where the hook up was located. While the fill cycle takes longer, I really enjoy the convenience of loading it and having it dry when the cycle is completed. The only complaint is I’ve had to replace the drainage pump every 2 years! This is our second pump replacement which is disappointing and expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good thing to replace two machines with one. It does great job, but with two drawbacks: The door is way bigger than the actual opening, which I resolved by putting the machine on a raised platform to enable getting a laundry basket up to the machine and clear the big door. The other is that it does a lot of vibrating during the spin cycle, and it tends to move when spinning--no matter what size the load. It is a learning process to take advantage of the many modes and how to augment those many modes. So far it has been a good experience..
