Easy Installation & Great Space-Saver

We opted for this unit instead of a stacked washer/dryer so that we could gain the extra closet space that the previous W/D set took up. Giving up the dryer and gaining that usable space is significant when living in a small condo. It'll be nice to install some shelving and additional storage.
The setup took less than 20 minutes. I followed the instructions, but it is simple enough that all you need to do is attach the water hoses, clip the drain hose in place, plug in the power cord and start washing.
The laundry capacity is decent, but probably less than what I was previously able to do. A full wash & dry cycle can easily take ~1 - 1.5 hrs. So, you'll just have to adjust your schedule to washing smaller loads more frequently. We'll be using the delayed start feature so a load is done during the day and then we can do another one or two at night.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We downsized to an in-law suite and had to give up our big side by sides, we did not like the over/under washer dryer models because we are not tall and had a hard time reaching the controls on the top of the dryers. We did some research on the web and found the LG Washer/Dryer combo. We ran our first FULL load and like a lot of people found out it took forever to dry the clothes. After READING the manual a second time we ran smaller loads and everything came out clean AND dry.
Thank you LG!

Great for Smallish or quirky spaces!

We purchased this unit for our new investment property. It's perfect for the small utility room which has NO dryer vent! This unit's size and condensation drying are a perfect match. Originally we purchased a stack washer-dryer from another maker, and upon install we found it was a lemon. On top of that, we had to use a dryer box which only blew hot air into the room which also contains the furnace.
Its effective, quiet and has a ton of features. I would highly recommend this 2-in-1, especially for quirky spaces like my rental utility closet. On ultra- high, the dryer shakes, despite being completely leveled and not shaking before hand. So It cannot be used on ultra-high, but otherwise it performs perfectly! Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect combo unit if you have limited space. Probably not the unit you want if you have a 5 person family, but is perfect for my purposes. Timer function is helpful and the unit is easy to operate

Not that impressed...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps it was the salesman not really explaining the product well -- perhaps it's the questions I didn't ask. Unless you pick a drying cycle WHEN you pick the washing cycle, you cannot go back and partially dry anything. The cycles themselves are incredibly long.. sometimes taking up to 90 to 120 minutes for something that you would swear should only take 45 minutes at most. I'm really not impressed. I realize that it's difficult to find ventless dryers... but I would not recommend nor buy this product if I had to do over. It was sooooo expensive.. and doesn't really meet my needs. And my washing needs are pretty simple!

Perfect product for our needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this washer/dryer combo for 3 years and have had nothing but the best luck with it. The machine washes very well. One cannot leave a large load of the wet laundry for the dryer to tumble so I use sensibly sized laundry loads if I plan to wash and dry. When the weather permits, our preference is outdoor line drying. Another positive spin-off is that the washer doesn't use much water and doesn't require as much laundry soap. We've saved a lot on both fronts. We have a septic system so it is important to minimize water usage; this machine fits the bill so well. We are thankful that our contractor suggested that we consider the LG combo to use in our small log cabin home. The machine doesn't require an outside exhaust, so no hole through the thick wooden logs. Uses standard 110 electric outlet. The clothes are dried by some new technology that works fine. They come out of the machine, after drying cycle, feeling slightly damp. In a few seconds, the clothes don't feel damp and are ready to fold. I operate the dryer on damp cycle because I've found that the regular setting leaves the clothes even drier than I prefer, which sets more wrinkles. Wrinkles aren't a problem for me on the damp setting.

Poor product

I bought this for two years and it started to have drying issues after the first year, and today when I was doing my laundry the water just wouldn’t drain, I tried all the suggested troubleshoot methods LG suggested on the internet with no hope of restoring it. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine in April 2016 for my tenants in a small apartment. No tenants complained about the machine until my last tenant who said clothes don't get dried. Now I moved in this apartment myself and am using it with a joy. It's a stream operation, without needing to move clothes from washer to dryer. I set the longest dryer time for all my clothes and come out perfect. I don't even see the electric bill went up. I'm glad that I didn't replace the machine when the tenant complained. Either he did not follow the written "how to" directions or just wanted to complain about anything possible for his gain.
