I needed a reliable unit to replace the builder's grade disposal. Due to space restrictions because of our R.O. unit, this disposal was not only an upgrade but fit nicely. Easy installation.

Simple Install, Does a great job.

Pretty simple to install. Nice and quiet operation. I did have trouble sealing the outlet pipe that comes with the garbage disposal. The plastic pipe pulled through the hold down bracket a couple times during install. Needed to be exactly centered in order not to leak and stay secured.

I had to change my old one because was not working anymore. Had to remove everything from the old unit, clean the sink opening and install this unit. Very fast and easy to install.

Replaced my GE disposal with another

I recently replaced my previous GE disposal with another GE. I did go from 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP . So far I am very pleased with the product. GE has a very good reputation and I all of my kitchen appliances are GE. Compatible with my dishwasher too.

A little dissapointed

I purchased this product because it was practically the only one with full stainless steel interior parts. It works well but for having nearly a 1000 rpm speed increase over other products, it still seems to struggle a bit with the grinding. It is quiet but seems to be lacking "power".
