I purchased this monitor because I have an HP Z24n at work and really, really like it and I need to refresh my monitor for my home. This one is okay. For the price the resolution is great. The extra real estate for text is a boon! The letters are crisp and easy to read. However, there is something off about the color to me. The whites aren't crisp. It kind of reminds me of dirty dish water. I've tried numerous settings and calibrations and can't resolve this issue. The color on the Z24n was some of the best that I ever used, and I was hoping that this was going to be like that. Sadly it wasn't. It's a solid monitor, and I like, but by no means do I love it. When I upgrade this for with a 4k I will definitely try it before I buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This monitor's picture quality is far superior to my other 1080 monitor . Very happy with this product and I would highly recommend it for any one looking for high quality monitor. I use it w/my omen gaming computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought as the virus concerns amplified and work from home protocols were mandated. The free shipping had the monitor arrive in 3 days which I thought was very fast.
Setting it up for a novice/non tech person took about 3 minutes from removing from box to being fully operational.
Display is great for work and it is very slim. It doesn’t take up much extra space on the desk. For big Monitor that’s nice. Additionally it’s all very clean without a lot of unsightly ports. So it looks good in the home office even with the monitor’s back facing the door.
I was very happy with this purchase and am considering a second monitor to further ease working from home

Only had it about a week but it's great. Easy to set up. The HDMI cable did not fit my Dell PC though so I had to use the cable from my old HP monitor. Love the non-glare screen too; color is vivid. Like it a lot.
