I normally use a 24 inch monitor, so I was between ordering the 24 inch and am so happy I chose the 27 inch. This monitor is GREAT! Very thin screen, lightweight and great picture quality. Only bummer is that you can't raise or lower the height of the screen (but this was an easy fix by putting a ream of paper or large book underneath). Highly recommend - especially for these work from home days!
I had been using a 25 inch HP monitor which I will be passing down to my grandson; so this 27 inch was going to be for me. It appears that pixels have just been stretched apart. I can now see every pixel. It reminds me of the old dot matrix printers of the 70's.
I should have read the reviews first before purchasing. Monitor looks great and runs smoothly but for the sound. I bought these (2) for work to be compatible with our HP laptop while plugged into a docking station. Not plug and play apparently. Yes, it has speakers (vents); but our IT could not figure out how to turn on the sound (and all we use are HP products). He thinks that it only works with speakers. Unplugged them and followed all the useless support site instructions and googling help sites to no avail. Would not work with 3rd party displayport adapter since my work HP doesn't support HDMI - only worked when I bought an HP adapter. Manual (not included anymore) doesn't match product so that was useless as well. Ordered speakers (yes it has the software for it, Band & Olufsen). If updating the drivers and speakers don't work, these will be returned for the curved Samsung monitors since they're seamless plug and play (and backward technology) with even with HP laptops.

Since the start of Coivd, I've been working from home on a small laptop screen which has been difficult on my eyes, neck, and shoulders. Now realizing that working from home will be much longer than anticipated, I decided to furnish my home office with the right equipment for better comfort and ergonomics. I knew I wanted a 27 inch white monitor to match my white office. Not many manufacturers make white monitors so it really narrowed down my options. I bought this monitor because it met my criteria and is at a good price point. I didn't want to spend too much on a monitor since I will only use it basic functions like read emails, work on MS office products, and internet usage. So far this monitor has far exceeded my expectations. I also love the fact that it has two HDMI ports which enables me to connect both my work and personal laptop and switch between the two. Thanks HP for making a white monitor.
Very easy to set up. I've never had a monitor that came will all required cords to just plug it into my laptop and go. Excellent experience and the clarity of the monitor is top notch. Way to go HP!
Only warning is the shipping, it did not come as quickly as advertised, took 10 days and I love in Texas. This was a the second 27f I was purchasing to create a dual screen system for my WFH needs. Note to buyer you will need a docking station to extend the views across both screens, and HDMI splitter only duplicates the view (lesson learned). Anyway it’s a great monitor with a super simple set up.
I very recently bought the monitor and thus far am enjoying the surface area. I have this positioned with the back of the monitor facing my window, so I don't necessarily struggle with glare, and have not noticed any pixelation or discoloring in the screen. It's a great addition to my WFH setup and I'm very happy with it. I do video editing and basic image editing and have not noticed any downfalls. I have it connected through one of two HDMI ports.
