Decent. But not near my Beats Pro

I was hoping for near Beats Pro level sound. I got sick of the cord and wanted to switch to wireless. I’d call these “decent”. Not nearly enough solid base but ok. 7 out of 10 maybe?

Noise cancelling is the best

Sound is excellence and so are the noise cancelling, I have Beats Pros and they are not as loud or bossy as them but the noise cancelling makes up for them in busy environments.

Horrible microphone
on August 6, 2018

Length of ownership:1 week
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought them a couple of days ago. I am happy with the sound and comfort but the microphone is horrible. Taking a call outside a quiet room is useless, the other party kept complaining about how loud the background noise was and how hard it was for them to understand me.

Hello Jay,

Thank you for providing your review of the QC35 Series II wireless headphones. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the sound quality and fit! We understand however that you ran into an issue with some background noise during a phone conversation.

We tuned the communication microphones, mainly used for telephone conversations to the human voice frequency range. In a loud environment where there are voices in the background, it’s possible the microphones will pick up those background voices and bring up the gain. This can send the background voices through to the far end person on a call. The person wearing the headset may hear this too (sidetone).

We encourage you to move to a quieter location and talk to see if the far end audio (the sound heard on the receiving end of the call) improves.

If you need any further assistance, please contact our Bose technical support team for by visiting here: https://bose.life/2LXQA9c

Thank you again

Over hyped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually traded in the old wired headphone for this overrated wireless Quiet comfort35 11 over a month ago. I was so excited to see and try it out but was highly disappointed when I eventually tried it after I got it. I have been a strong fan of Bose for very long time and in have so many of their devices but this one does not sound like Bose at all. No deep base and when you are on call, the noise cancelling disappears and all the noise around comes to ear. Though it's comfort to wear and also light to carry but I wished Bose could make it sound good with deep base and clarity like the new Sony. Bose please fix.

Hello, Aok.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II. We're glad that you enjoyed the QC35 II's comfort and lightweight design. We appreciate your interest and your loyalty to Bose.

We're sorry to hear that the audio quality didn't meet your expectations. Noise cancellation can be adjusted while on a call if you switch the function of your Action Button. The Action Button on the left earcup can activate Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, but it can also toggle your noise reduction in 3 levels. This can be changed in the Bose Connect app.

We appreciate your feedback and we will continue to work to improve our products. Have an excellent day!
