Does not provide audio mic for PC

Replaced previous Bose wired comfort headphones with QC35II but the mic does not work when connected to my PC, very disappointing.

We are sorry to hear about your issues. The microphone will only be available to use when the headphones are connected to your PC via Bluetooth. The microphone is not functional when connected with an audio cable. If you are connected via Bluetooth and still having issues - please check this Community post - https://bose.life/2MIpS0v

Poor directions. Only able to connect with tele

Dissatisfied with poor directions and lack and poor distance to receive music/tv. Had similar wireless Sony headset purchased about 20 yrs ago. They are superior in quality, coverage area and at a fraction of the cost. Actually about 1/2 the cost. Plus we don’t have a store to go to and talk to someone about how to get the most out of product. Very disappointed.

Takes Way Too Long

Useless

Sorry to say that these quote-unquote noise cancelling headphones are pretty much useless. Years ago I had a pair of wired noise cancelling Bose headphones and they worked as expected. I'm returning them.

Not as good as

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of Bose headphones (Qc25 Quiet Comfort 25) were better in many ways. Even after battery died, they played music (without noise cancellation) and they easily connected to all of my devices. This is a big problem with the 35's. When the battery dies, so does access to music. This is a drag, especially on long flights. More importantly, the quality of the sound was better when all i want to do is cancel sound -- especially outside, here in new york city - - the Quiet Comfort 35 II amplifies truck engines, whereas the 35's are much quieter. What's better about wireless headphones? The long cord was always ripping off the headphones. Honestly, though, if the ear pads had not worn out and if the replacement ear pads had actually fit securely, rather than falling out constantly, I'd still be using them. The most frustrating thing is that i am unable to figure out how to connect them to my macbook pro, since the bose website has no help and no service either.

I can confirm that should the battery die, like the QC25, the QC35 also come with an audio cable, to allow you to continue using them via a direct connection while powered off.

Way worse noice cancelling than Sony and Bose QC30

No button to hear your surroundings. Personally I find them uncomfortable and in summer my ears get sweaty. The quality of sound is ok but well... not astonishing.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel the Noise Canceling is not as good as other headsets.

In regards to hearing your surroundings, as these are the QC35 II's, they have an action button that you are able to toggle in the Bose Connect App. You can use it to control your level of Noise Canceling from High, Low or off. Low is an 'Aware' mode which allows you to hear your surroundings.

Not intuitive

Sem great if i could get them to pair again on my pc. Did it once last night, got them to work half way with overwatch. In the effort to get them to work i tried updating everything. Updated the system, and now they wont connect to my pc. I'm going to keep giving it a shot, but i bought them for gaming and this process is taking to long and is so annoying.

I'm sorry to hear you had issues in reconnecting the product to your computer. Our Bluetooth headphones will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when switched on. If you paired to another device, then you can slide the power switch over to Bluetooth to switch between the paired devices.

If you have issues, you can clear the device list on the headphones by holding the power switch over to Bluetooth for around 10 seconds. You'll hear a voice prompt that confirms the list is clear. To learn more about pairing, you can find instructions here: https://bose.life/315BsZS
