Did not work out of box

After opening the headphones I quickly realized that the noise canceling / battery function did not work at all as the headphones would not even turn on. Other than that they seemed like great headphones I just can't believe that such "nice" headphones would come out of the box broken.

I bought these less than a year ago and I've used them less than twenty times and the volume and controls don't work and neither does the left speaker.... it's super frustrating to know that I threw money down the toilet.

Disconnecting from my PC every 10-15 min

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi, I'm a great fan of Bose and no complaints with sound quality or noise cancelling.
But the only thing is when I try connecting my Bose with my Laptop to try watch movie or for any audio purposes, the Headset keeps disconnecting frequently for every 10-15 min. I have to pause the audio reconnect it and later resume the clip. It keeps me frustrated all the time. Please resolve my issue.
Thanks, Akshay

Hi Akshay. Thank you for your review of the QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Headphones.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.
I would recommend that you clear the pairing list on your headphones. You can do this by holding the Bluetooth switch for about 10 seconds until you hear the prompt "Bluetooth device list cleared" and then reconnect the headphones.
I would also recommend that you reset your headphones. You can do this by: 1. Turn off the headset and wait 30 seconds 2. Plug the headset into a wall outlet using a USB charger, then wait 5 seconds 3. Unplug the USB cord from the headset and wait 1 minute 4. Turn on the headset
After trying these steps, if you are still having this issue then I would strongly urge you to get in contact with our Customer Service and Technical Support team who will be happy to assist you further.

Good sound, but too expensive without needed parts

Length of ownership:1 month
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these for about a month. I'm happy with the sound, and the fit is comfortable, but they slip forward during use. And what's the reason for not including the airline adapter anymore? Now I have to buy that separately and pay for shipping? Yikes, Bose. For what these cost, all parts needed for use should be included.
Response from bose.comBy Anne S, Customer Service, July 5, 2019
Hi Erica, I am happy that you are happy with the sound and the comfort of your QC35 II headphones. It's great to hear! Regarding the airline adaptor, if you are a frequent flyer understandably it comes in handy, although it is no longer needed on many airplanes. In any case, please contact Customer Service, we will be happy to help you with this. Warmest wishes.

BAD Bluetooth Range - sound start breaking (robot)
on May 15, 2019

Length of ownership:1 month
I bought this QC35 II, 1 month ago, so disappointment... 1.- The Bluetooth Range is HORRIBLE, the sound start breaking to much if you are like 3-4 fts far, the audio quality is drop off to a robot voice, it is worse when I'm connected to two devices (computer & phone), bluetooth start cutting/losing the reception even if I'm close to the phone or PC. I have to disconnect one of them to lisen a clean song. Noice cancelling works fine. but with a product of this cost, I expected a better quality music, greater bluethood range reception.
2.- There is not way to increase the bass. Why no?
3.- Noise cancelling. it works good but not awesome. It works perfect with constant sounds but with intermittencies it does not.
4.- Comfort. is great! Great weight, great fit. exceptional 5.- Looks and feel, great! 6.- Battery, it works good, it is not awesome, it do the job well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my headset, I wish it came with a charging case. I use them everyday for conf calls, and I take these on my travels.....and for the most part it’s very sturdy! I do slight lose sound quality when connecting via Bluetooth to my iPad Pro. Overall a good buy and well worth with it....would definitely recommend and purchase these again!

No Longer A Bose Fan!

My son's QuietComfort 350 Wireless II after 13 months. And he is a person who takes very good care of his electronics. Went to Sony for replacement.
Response from bose.comBy nicole leboeuf, Care, June 10, 2020
Hi Pat,
I am very sorry to see what has happened to your son's ear cushions. Our headphone cushions are made from a protein leather which can potentially deteriorate over time. Acids in one's sweat if left on the material can have a negative effect. We recommend giving them a wipe down after extended use using a gently dampened cloth, and when in storage, having the provided silica gel packets in the case will draw moisture away from the product. This should help lengthen the life of your cushions. The great thing about our headphones is that should the cushions begin to deteriorate after many uses, they are easily user-replaceable.
Kind regards, Tegan - Customer Support

Misleading advertisement: HORRIBLE HEADPHONES

Hello, I'm a Business Student at the University of Texas at Austin, I just received a pair of Quiet Comfort 35 headphones for Christmas, and am extremely disappointed with them. Their supposedly "noise cancellation" features are terrible, and I can hear a person talk quietly on the other side of the room. To add on to that, I receive a terrible headache after 2 minutes of having them play music with half of its capacity. DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES.
Response from bose.comBy Mohsin_S, Bose Support, January 7, 2019
Hello Samuel,
Thanks for taking the time to provide a review of the QC35 Series II wireless headphones. We're sorry for the experience you're having. We just wanted to clarify a few things for you, the Acoustic Noise Canceling technology (ANC) is most effective in environments with lots of low-frequency "droning" type sounds (Examples: Buses, air-conditioning, airplane engine noise, etc). We find that the noise cancellation effect may not be quite as effective on "transient" or "sharper" sounds in some environments. (Examples: The human voice, quick loud noises, babies crying, etc.)
We do not make any claims to cancel 100% of sound because it is difficult to establish one number that is valid for different environments and situations.
If we can be of any further assitance to you, please feel free to reach out to us again!
