I hope the battery life on the new ones is better.

I’ve had the previous version of this headphone for a little over a year and I’m sad to report that my battery life on a full charge is getting shorter all the time. It makes me truly bothered. I love these headphones, but now I don’t know if I should’ve spent all that money. This review would’ve been 5 Star and then some if they had even maintained the lower battery life that was claimed on my version.

Great headphones, not a bad price. My only issue is that it will only connect to my ipod adapter late at night while my other wireless headphones (jvc) dont. I guess its a indicater that i should use my ipod any longer

Useless in airplanes, but great noise cancelling.

I bought these headphones chiefly to use on flights. For that reason I am very disappointed. The sound-cancelling effect is fantastic and the headphones generally keeps contact with my Bluetooth devices (disconnecting maybe 1/hour on average) so on that side all is good. To my surprise and due to bad research on my part, the headphones cannot use the noise cancelling effect on flights, when used with a cord. That is already a big drawback but I might have bought the headphones anyway. However, the contact between headphones/cable (That came with the headphones) and the in-airplane entertainment system (or for that matter my Samsung pad, by Lenovo computer and my MacBook air) is extremely bad. Depending on how it is connected, there is only mono-sound, and/or very distorted sound. --> Maybe I had a bad specimen, but my conclusion is that the cable came from Bose, and the bad connection is chiefly between their own cable and the headphones...not with the connecting device...and I can thus not use the headphones for their(my) main purpose.

But seems now that I have connected to my phone for Alexa to work that button is for Alexa only and I cant figure out how to just have the noice cancelling on the headset. No manual at all not even a small one to help with stuff like this

It works as the name suggested!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Sennheiser products fan for like 7 years, earphones and a Momentum headphone. But I never had an Active Noise Cancelling ones, I have to admit, decide to switch to this Bose product for my first ANC headphones simply because of its name. And boy, I should have purchased it earlier! I use it while commuting, it cancels most of the engine sound. I use it on my long trip by train, I SWEAR TO GOD THERE WAS A CRYING BABY behind my seat and the cry is cancelled!!
I usually listen to Pink Floyd, and sometimes 90s ballad like Whitney Houston at half to 3/4 volume with High Noise Cancellation. Never at full volume.
I give 4-stars because the sound quality is not that superb, just good. And the airplane adapter is replaced by a piece of foam, which i have to keep it inside the case to prevent the earcups scratching against each other.
