Not the best

I bought this product about 2months ago. The sound quality was not good. The comfort was also poor, but I could wear for a few hours without a headache.
The product is a little bland.
Worst was the audio for connecting/disconnecting to devices. Sometimes it was unusable because the device kept interrupting with the status of each device.
There is a difference when activating the ANC but some noises are amplified.
Overall can do better.

Love Love Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son bought these for me for mother's day. Shocker. I love them, but at the gym I was needing to be creative when laying down doing bench presses etc., the creativity has come to an end. I bought some small sticky velcro circles, and put 4 at the top of the headband, both sides of 1 circle x 2, and it works perfectly. It does stick to my hair, but I can fix it when I take the headphones off. I'm so excited to put it to the real test today.

A little dissapointed
on September 26, 2017

It is 2017 and not usc-c is just plain stupid. I mean a headphone is expected to last a couple of years and thus usb-c should have been a prioroity number 1. Also, Bluetooth 5? Seriously no audio company is yet implementing techs that are found in 2017 phones. Bose and others need to up their game and match the smartphones technologies.

Disappointed.

Noise cancelling is about the same as a pair of 50$ headphones I bought at the airport. Even with music blasting, I can still hear everything going on around me. I constantly check to see in NC is turned off, just to be disappointed to find out it is at its highest setting.
I work at an open space office and ride public transport, and have a similar experience with both. At work, I can hear every conversation going on around me, and while commuting, I can clearly hear the engine and every other passenger around me. Disappointing.
The sound quality is what you would expect from BOSE. But, for the noise cancelling part, the QuietComfort 20s were light years ahead.

Voice assistants are a bug not a feature
on November 8, 2019

I don't want to be spied on, please offer a set of headphones with the voice assistants removed
Response from bose.comBy Anne S, Customer Support, November 13, 2019
Hi Bryce,
Thank you for your feedback. The voice assistants (Alexa or Google) are a function that you will need to set up if you want to use it. If you don't want to use an assistant with your headphones, that's perfectly possible and you will still be able to enjoy all their other functions using the Bose Connect app. You can even set the Action button (which you would normally use for voice assistants) to noise cancellation. To do this, open the Bose Connect app, tap the gear icon to access Action button settings and select noise cancellation.
Please, do not hesitate to reach out to https://www.bose.com/en_us/contact_us.html if you have further questions. We are always happy to help.
Many thanks Anne - Customer Support

this is probably the headphones at fault because other company bluetooth headphones work flawlessly with my phone. Also, I have a 3second audio lag with my macbook pro while pairing with this headphone. I wouldn't recommend.
