[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to use on the plane and on my flight I realized it does not have a plane use cable. Where can I get one?

Hi Kaytosleep,
Thanks for providing a review of the QC35 Series II wireless headphones. The headphones will come with a backup audio cable to use when wireless/Bluetooth is not available. Please use the 3.5mm end for the source device and the other end will connect to the headphones.
Here's a link to the cable: https://bose.life/2E54xhl
Thank you again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are a game changer. They work amazing and are probably the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on my head, you can hardly feel them. Would definitely recommend.

I bought the original QuietComfort 35 Wireless headphones about 2 years ago, and received a pair of QuietComfort 35 Wireless headphones II to replace those a year ago in an attempt to resolve a technical issue. It did not solve it, although it did put a cheap band-aid on it in the process. This issue is one of two software issues that I've had with these headphones. The issue I mentioned is due to the Bose headphones having a special mode they go into for calls whenever they detect the microphone is being used. THIS MODE CANNOT BE TURNED OFF. It selectively turns off the noise canceling feature so you can hear your own voice. However in doing so, it also for some reason forces all other audio from your device to be downgraded in quality to that of a phone call. If you're listening to music or instructions at the same time, it sounds horrible, if you hear it at all, since the headphones are also live adjusting other audio source volumes in accordance with the volume of the person speaking in the call. Because of this, it forces the headphones to be very one function oriented in call situations, making voice chats in games degrade the audio of the game to a point where it is disruptive and unplayable. The second issue caused by this function is that for some reason, should you be in a call on one application and receive a call on another during it, when you hang up on that second call that interrupted the first, audio will no longer be directed to the headphones. This leads to your continuing first call to be broadcasted aloud in many cases, such as if you're using the headphones with your phone. As someone who spends alot of time in voice chats on the internet and in applications (such as Skype and Discord), this becomes incredibly disruptive, and often embarrassing, as the conversation I was listening to is broadcasted in a silent room upon hanging up the second call. The phone says it's still connected to your headphones and that it is sending audio through it, but this is evidently not the case. The only way to fix it is to turn off the headphones and turn them back on. They've had two years to patch this, and yet they haven't. They've had two years to allow you to disable this call mode, and yet they haven't. The third and largely final issue I've had with this product is concerning the durability of the headphone cushions. Within a couple months of wearing them, they deflate to a point that it impacts the noise canceling capability. You don't notice it happening over time, but when you replace the cushions or try on a fresh pair, you'll notice. Then in about 10-12 months of wearing them, the seams of the cushion give way, as the material spills out, further compromising the noise canceling capability and making wearing them a chore as you fiddle with the stuffing so it goes around your ear and stays roughly in place. Then, if you want the cushions replaced, they aren't free, and they may not be covered under warranty as they are considered "accessories", as though you could wear the headphones without cushions. It then costs you 40+ dollars to get them replaced.
Overall, the noise cancelling is pretty good (assuming the cushions haven't collapsed yet), and the audio quality is nothing to scoff at (assuming you're not in a call). Battery time will never be an issue, and you can wear them all day as long as they were charged for an hour and a half or so. If that's all you want it for and don't mind buying the new cushions every half year or more, and you're not worried about the call issues, then go ahead and buy them. However I highly encourage you to not get these, as I hear Sony has some comparably great headphones, without all the problems I listed.

Alexa does not work

I upgraded from an older, wired Bose noise canceling headphones, and was looking forward to using Alexa on my headphones. Unfortunately, I am not able to get Alexa to work. Google Assistant works great, but I am paying for Amazon music. I have tried everything to get Alexa to see these headphones, but nothing has worked so far - and with effectively 3 companies involved (Apple/iPhone, Amazon/Alexa, and Bose/QC35II) - nothing seems to work together as advertised. I am going to spend another hour or so on this and if nothing works out, return them and buy the Sony product and see if that works better.

Terrible connection

I'm on my second set in less than a week because the bluetooth keeps disconnecting. I called customer support and was told the firmware needs to be updated but that can't be done because every time it disconnects it starts the update over and it disconnects every 5 minutes. Great sound and clarity but everything else about them sucks.

Superb Sound, Poor build quality.

I bought a pair of quiet comfort headphones from Bose and was EXTREMELY disappointed in the build quality. The plastic headband broke and rendered the headphone useless. The clarity and comfort was wonderful but if they are so fragile, it is hard to justify the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for Christmas and I have been in love with them ever since. I value focus while I study at coffee shops that can get quite noisy, that’s where the headphones come in. They block out so much noise! My sisters never understood why I wanted such pricy headphones but once they used them, I had a hard time getting MY headphones back from them. Do not regret getting them for a second.
