Great for studying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these as a present before a big trip to Italy. They are the comfiest, most sound proof, best headphones I have ever use. I was right next to the airplane jet and didn't even notice. I always throw them in my backpack and so far they are still in good shape. My favorite feature is the deep sockets for the ears. I have big ears that stick out so wearing these does not hurt my ears at all and I can wear them for 8 hrs + when studying in the library. Best gift to have, and seriously every person at my university now uses them.

Not as great as price point implies

I bought these a couple of months ago for work and I am not super impressed. I can't get them to connect to my MacBook Pro. The noise cancellation is fair but I expected more for the price. With just the noise cancellation on I can hear everything still but if I have music on at half volume it'll drown out most noise. However, that's the music drowning out the noise, not the headphones technology doing the work. If I walk away from my phone into the adjacent room, the bluetooth cuts out so the range is subpar and frustrating. Also, after about one hour the bluetooth will sometimes randomly stop and I'll have to reconnect. The battery life is definitely not 20 hours and the charging cable is so small that I have to put a bench under the outlet so it doesn't dangle when charging. On the upside they are very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it as Father’s Day gift and already hooked onto it since I got it. I had the QC-25 but my grief was always the cable and battery running out constantly as I used it pretty heavily. QC-35 II is a total game changer when it comes to no wire clutter and USB charging. 20 hours long battery life is amazing. So far impressed all round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been in possession of these headphones now for over a year. I begrudgingly switched over to the QC35's when my QC25 wired headphones finally gave up the ghost on me. Oh how I miss them.
First the good. The sound quality and noise cancellation are typical Bose. Highest quality sound, and they do a fantastic job of keeping the ambient noise out. Being in the military and traveling a lot, I really rely on these headphones noise cancellation abilities when flying as well as in noisy hotels, berthings, and barracks. They really do the trick. The build quality on them is fantastic, actual metal in some places, soft ear cups and over the head strap make them wearable for hours on end. I really can't complain about sound, noise cancellation or build quality.
I can and will however, absolutely rip these headphones for not only the abysmal Bose Connect App, but the awful connectivity between any of my devices and these headphones. In regards to the Bose Connect app, I expect a company like Bose to come up with a better user interface. The application is plain, which is fine, and I may be improperly blaming the app for the poor connectivity performance, but very often when paired with my phone, the headphones will drop the connection, and take multiple attempts to get the devices paired back up. My biggest complaint comes from the interface between the headphones and my windows 10 laptop. I have to uninstall and reinstall the headphones almost daily, if I do not the sound will cut out completely once or twice every second, making watching anything on my laptop with my amazing sounding, and incredible noise cancelling headphones one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced. I would be willing to accept the occasional dropped signal, or glitchy nature of getting the items to pair up, if it were a once and a while thing. But daily, I will start to watch something, movie on a streaming platform, off a hard drive, YouTube, anything, and immediately it's cutting in and out. It's unacceptable for an item of this price point to not just work, easily, every single time I put them on.
I have always raved to people about the Bose Quiet Comfort 25 headphones that I used to have. Now i find myself usually starting my reply to "how do you like those?" with the disclaimer of "well, if you can deal with the constant need to uninstall and reinstall, they are great, but I miss my wired headphones.
I really hope that with the newest iteration of the QC line of over the ear headphones, that Bose can find a way to eliminate this issue, it really ruins an otherwise amazing piece of technology that I probably use far, far more than the average user.
Hopefully this experience will not lead me to spend my money on a competitor when the time comes for these headphones to need replacement, for I have been a loyal Bose consumer since I got my first set of noise cancelling headphones 5 years ago.

Hi Scott,

I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy the Sound Quality and Noise Cancelation of the QC 35 II Headphones!

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you are experiencing with Bluetooth Connection. It is not essential to use the Bose Connect Application to connect your headphones if you do not enjoy using the application. You can connect your headphones using the normal Bluetooth menu.

As you seem to be having connection issues between multiple devices, I would recommend clearing the pairing history on your headphones by sliding the switch to the far right until you hear 'Device list cleared'. Once completed, delete the pairing on your source devices and then pair like a brand new connection.

If you prefer a wired connection, the QC35 II comes with an audio cable which you could use in the same way as the QC25's.

Thank you for your continued interest in our Noise Cancelation products!

Kindest,

Kerri - Customer Support

Best investment for work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these headphones for about a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about them. I have attention deficit disorder, so being distracted by sound is a big thing for me. I use these all the time while I study, with noise cancelling on the highest level, and they help me so greatly in being able to block out auditory distractions. They are also fantastic for me to be able to take calls hands free while I work on tasks. I love having these, as a college student, as well, since they allow me to enjoy my music without aggravating my roommates. Not to mention that I listen to sounds to help me sleep, and these are absolutely perfect to let that happen and not effect my roommates environment too. I can put these headphones on at 80% battery, listen to music all night, and still wake up with 40% battery. As bulky as these headphones might look, they are extremely comfortable, and they stay put on my head no matter what I do in them. I also love this style, as typical earbuds tend to make my ears ache, so if that’s a problem for you, these are a fantastic alternative. The sound quality is wonderful, as well as the noise cancellation. I would highly recommend these for anyone who wants a quality pair of headphones, an aide to their focusing ability, or a great mediator between you and rowdy neighbors. Although they are a bit pricey, they are worth every penny, and I would buy them again in a heartbeat if (god forbid) anything happened to them.

Over the years I have purchased many different headphones and been disappointed but a few weeks ago I decided to purchase the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 wireless headphones II. These are definitely the best and they live up to their name.

Sounds like I'm inside of Music

This crafty piece of sound ergonomics is key. Key to understanding sound clearly and thoroughly. The sound is exceptional. There is a high fidelity and crisp sound that permeates through your ears. I've noticed when listening to surround sound music or movies that the sound truly does have a surround, sound, eminent. Very amazing. The only mild fault is when laying down in bed that the headphones don't stay on your head that well. But I just use my Soundtouch systems to listen to when I lay in bed. These are great. I would recommend for a true audiophile. DON'T be tricked by the price. It's worth it. These might be the best in the industry. I know I know, you all probably think that Sennheiser HD 800 S might be a winner. Never have tried the sennheiser ones but I would venture to say that these are a runner up Comfortable and Brilliant Sound!
