Very good in most cases

I've been on 11 flights since I bought these and as long as I have something playing, I haven't heard anything. Coming into a landing I pulled my headphones off to realize that there was a kid screaming a couple rows behind me.
I have had some issues using my headphones with my computer at work where it is streaming, but it thinks it isn't in use and goes to sleep (ie gotomeeting) in the middle of the meeting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought them a few weeks back and enjoying the outstanding comfort & sound quality of my qc35ii headphones! I just think there are two areas that need improvement - Phone call quality & Stiffness around neck. Though I do not hear much noise during the call, the other end is bombarded with noise and isn't able to perceive my speech properly. The stiffness I feel around my neck when I remove them from my ears for awhile is a bit irritating. If these problems are fixed, these will be perfect!

Good headphones and noise cancellation, expensive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these headphones about a month ago because I was having so much trouble concentrating at work. I compared the leading Sony and these. Features aside the Bose had better noise cancellation were overall built better. They are very expensive so make sure you have a real use for them.
As far as sound goes, they are really good. Bose kind of throws their EQ right down the middle and creates an almost EQ free, flat sounding response. Which as a studio musician I appreciate. The bass has a slight punch to it but the highs and mids are toned down slightly creating a more dull sound at times. Overall the sound is really good though.

Sound great! Returned due to defect after 4 uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned them after 2 weeks due to the inside lining of the right hand speaker coming loose. I used them on an airplane three times and once at home. I searched around all day for comparable headphones and couldn't find any as good. So I am going back tomorrow to buy another set.
